Lemon Haze Lavender Bliss Cake
Yield: This recipe makes about 8 servings.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 25-30 minutes
Ingredients:
For the Cake: 1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted canna-butter
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons dried lavender flowers, finely ground
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Zest of 1 lemon
For the Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon cannabis-infused coconut oil, melted
Lavender flowers for garnish
Instructions
First, preheat your oven to 350°F, then grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan. Now grab a mixing bowl and sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt, then stir in the ground lavender and lemon zest.
In a separate bowl, beat the cannabis-infused butter and sugar until light and fluffy, just a few minutes, and then add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Now this is the important part, alternately add the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Now stir in lemon juice until the batter is smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and cannabis-infused coconut oil until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake and garnish with lavender flowers.
Serve this elegant cake as a centerpiece to your 420 celebrations, combining the joy of cannabis with the refined flavors of lavender and lemon.
