The COGCN provides opportunities that are for each and every one of my students. I also appreciate how quick they are to return phone calls and emails, which has made my job as a new counselor a lot easier. ” Pakize Cetintas Dove Science Academy Guidance Counselor Oklahoma City Community Foundation

About Us:
Oklahoma City Community Foundation Established in 1969 by John and Eleanor Kirkpatrick, the Oklahoma City Community Foundation has connected donors with charitable organizations and causes for more than 50 years. As a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization and one of more than 750 community foundations in the United States, we help donors establish permanent endowment funds to provide long-term support to nonprofits in this community. Serving both urban and rural communities in central Oklahoma, the Oklahoma City Community Foundation is currently among the 20 largest community foundations in the country.
Oklahoma City Community Foundation Trustees T. Scott Spradling, Chair David J. Feroli, Chairman-elect Steven C. Agee
What is a community foundation?
Leigh Ann Albers
Community foundations are public charities dedicated to bettering the lives of people in a defined geographic area through grant-giving. They bring together the financial resources of local individuals, families and businesses to support nonprofits and activities in their area.
Michael Carolina
What is an endowment?
Vicki Howard
An endowment is a permanent fund established through a charitable gift or donation. While only a portion of the fund is available each year to support charitable efforts, like your scholarship award, the power behind endowment is its permanence. Each year, the fund grows as a portion is invested, ensuring it will forever be able to fund charitable causes.
What other programs do we support in the community? Thanks to donors who care to see students succeed in their academic journeys, we are able to provide the largest selection of scholarships in the state. We also work with donors to support hundreds of charitable organizations and projects in central Oklahoma, including public art and beautification projects, health care for those in need and community wellness programs for everyone.
