Exciting and exotic adventures on A winter cruise to Norway Norway is powered by nature and is unique in all seasons. For an extended cruise season we and our partners in Norway offer a number of exciting and exotic experiences. For example, opportunities such as those offered by Cruise To Norway “The Winter Wonderland”. Experience the spectacular fjords and take a walk on a glacier. Ski down a beautiful mountain, or try dog sledging beneath the stars. Watch the magical Northern Lights from a Sami camp – or how about spending the night in an ice hotel? Experience the city culture, Christmas markets and other events. Remember to bring proper winter clothing with you. Take a tip from the Norwegians – use pure wool to keep warm and dry! Norway had its first winter cruise in 2009. This was followed by 4 in 2010 and 6 in 2012 in the months of February and March. We are offering you what is most precious to us, − our nature, heritage and environment. We urge you, like us, to protect our natural surroundings. We all have an enormous responsibility and nobody profits from destroying nature to make way for unsustainable tourism. Norway`s nature is unique. Welcome to a wonderful winter experience in Norway.

It is no less than the third time the Norwegian fjords have topped the list! Can it be true? Come and see for yourself! northern lights When dreaming about seeing the northern lights, you must remember that you are at the complete mercy of nature. The northern lights love to play hide and seek. Observing the aurora borealis is often a tug of war between your patience and the aurora itself. Seeing the northern lights is a jaw-dropping and mystical moment. The lights are at their most frequent in late autumn and winter/early spring. October, February and March are the best months for auroral observations. The highest northern lights frequency is between 6 pm and 1 am. “No pencil can draw it, no colours can paint it, and no words can describe it in all its magnificence.” Julius von Payer - explorer and a keen observer of the northern lights
