Around the Regions: 1199 Home Care Member Testimony in Washington, D.C.

On September 26, members took part in the annual Brides’ March in Upper Manhattan in honor of Gladys Richart, who was killed on her wedding day by a jealous exboyfriend. Women wearing wedding dresses marched from Manhattan to the Bronx alongside community allies and elected officials to uplift all those struggling against domestic violence, which continues to plague our communities.
