IDEA: kick the system out of balance and initiate a chain reaction with area improvments (masterplan) and 1st portion of new inhabitants renting 1st staircase of 1st contractor. Continous chainges in masterplan are due to demand of arriving and leaving inhabitants: area as a starting point for young people between leaving parent’s home and buying their own home.

Urban ambience solution was based on the idea of inviting posiible inhabitance into a common game to form sense of community: closing the street for cars, making a pedestrian boulevard with riverand ships-related activities and a bit of nostalgia for USSR times in urban furniture design.

Chosen functional solution corresponds both to original use and contemporary possobilities. Entrance area creates comfortable city plaza. Proposed building replaces old and badly kept previous one and provides offices for park management and gardening school, green house and a cafe for area

Chosen design solution represents flying birds as a hommage to ‘The Cranes Are Flying’ - a Soviet film about World War II depicts the cruelty of war, and a famous song from it. All the elements of the design were thought inside this concept for the aim of creating slightly nostalgic atmosphere.

As it visible on the reference pictures chosen design solution based on egg shape of each hall, which is good with acoustical performance and visibility of the screen. Next step of design process was creating a box to host required number of ‘eggs’ and aply all necessary fluxes and rooms.
