COMPANY HISTORY

On March 1st of 1954, Oliveira & IrmĂŁo SA was founded in Aveiro (page 5) as a small family business that along its path went through different areas of business. In the 1980s OLI set up its first cistern production unit. During the following ten years. OLI grew exponentially, which led to the integration with the Italian (1-2) Fondital Group in 1993. The group has about 2,600 employees and is present in four sectors of activity: heating; aluminum; hydraulic and chrome plating; and fire protection. OLI Italy was established in order to increase our presence in Italy and Europe.

DESIGN PARTNERSHIPS ROMANO ADOLINI The Ino-x control plate collection was designed by Romano Aldolini, an Italian architect and designer who is an influential figure in bathroom design. The Ino-x collection is simple, elegant and with a strong visual impact: “A simple sheet of steel that is only 2mm thick cut with a precise laser”.

EDUARDO SOUTO DE MOURA Souto de Moura is a renowned Portuguese architect who has been presented with various international awards, such as, the Gold Medal of Heinrich Tessenow Foundation in 2001; the Pritzker Award in 2011; the Wolf Prize of Arts in 2013; just to name a few. In 2001, in collaboration with OLI, Souto de Moura developed the SM15 for the new Pousada of Portugal in Covilhã.

ÁLVARO SIZA VIEIRA Álvaro Siza Vieira is a world-renowned architect who has collected several international awards, Pritzker Prize in 1992; The Wolf Prize of Arts in 2001; the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement in 2012; the Fritz Hoger award in 2014, just to name a few. The Trumpet control plate was designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira and is the perfect combination of elegance and harmony, both characteristics of a trumpet. In 2016, the “Trumpet” was selected “Best of Category” for the “Archiproducts Design Awards” one of the most prestigious awards of Architecture and Design worldwide. 18

SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS

We are committed to the efficient use of water HOTEL 100 ROOMS Annual water consumption in a hotel with 100 rooms with an average of 4 flushes per day. 1.400.000 L

Water is a scarce resource which has, in recent decades, become a resource of extreme importance. Climate change has accentuated this phenomenon and its rational use has become a priority. In an average home, the bathroom represents about 32% of water consumption, thus making the bathroom the ideal place to reduce water waste. Our products are designed and produced using the latest technology and always respecting environmental concerns. This means that you donÂ´t have to sacrifice your dream bathroom for water efficiency. Design and sustainability go hand in hand at OLI. We have estimated that the use of the Azor Plus inlet valve saves up to 9 liters of water per day, in a family of four. This is even more significant in public places, such as a hotel with 100 rooms. The annual consumption of water can be further reduced by more than 30% when using a dual flush system (6/3 liters) and by nearly 50% when using a dual flush with 4,5/3 liters.

hYdroboost SYSTEM The new environmentally friendly technology.

One-and-only with no connection to the electrical system.

HOW IT WORKS: 1. Water enters the cistern to fill it;

2. As the water fills the cistern, it passes through the hydro generator that harnesses this movement to generate and accumulate the energy until the inlet valves closes; 3. This energy supplies a capacitive sensor which, in addition to detecting the proximity of the human body (up to 20mm), also monitors the accumulated energy levels in the hydro generator. This monitoring ensures that even without continuous use, the system works properly. To this end, when necessary, automatic flushes are made in order to maintain the hydro generator loaded.

4. The servomotor is controlled and supplied via the capacitive sensor, it activates the flush valve by rotating in one direction for the complete flush, and the other direction for the half flush.

Hydroboost is a technology developed by OLI that harnesses the power of water in motion to generate enough energy to power a capacitive control plate. The system is available with our no-touch dual flush control plates. All it takes is the approach of a hand for the flush to be activated.

The use of this technology requires no connection to the electrical grid or the replacement of batteries, since it harnesses the energy of water in motion and uses that energy to activate the control plate.

OLI Pure creates a fresh atmosphere and provides an immediate feeling of comfort and cleanliness, without any effort. OLI Pure is a closed storage system with a cleaner that is placed inside the cistern and with each flush releases the disinfectant into the toilet. It is compatible with all WC cleaners and has a storage capacity of 450ml.

The high power and low noise extractor eliminates odours directly from the toilet (70% of odours) and steam (30% of condensation) via an elegant and discreet plate, installed in the wall or on the ceiling.

Happy Air is easy to install: it is directly connected to the OLI74 Plus concealed cistern and can be installed in the wall or on the ceiling. The extractor has a switch that is installed in parallel with the lighting, and can be activated with a dedicated button or with a presence detector. The Happy Air system is extremely quiet; designed so as not to exceed a noise threshold of 35 dB (A); this ranks Happy Air as industry-leading in terms of performance.

EASY MOVE Elegant movement redefined

Easy Move is the complete package. It offers a solution that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional that allows the user to vary the height of a toilet using a remote control. When simple movements, such as getting up from sitting on the toilet, become a problem, Easy Move intervenes by simplifying the lives of children, the elderly and people with reduced mobility.

Easy Move is extremely versatile: it is compatible with all wall hung toilets. The powerful engine exerts a lifting force of 600 kg. The structure moves the toilet up to 150mm with the user seated. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS - Silent Efficiency

All OLI in-wall cisterns are equipped with silent NF class 1 certified inlet valves. Providing fast filling with minimal noise.

The use of in-wall cisterns for wall-hung toilets (tested for a 400kg load) contribute to a faster and more effective cleaning of the bathroom and remove architectural barriers caused by traditional floor standing toilets.

- Versatilty

OLI offers a wide range of in-wall cisterns, with mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, or Hydroboost tecnology actuation.

- Easy water grid connection

Connecting to the water grid is simple and fast, without the need for tools or connection accessories. The shut off valve is located inside the cistern and opening and closing the valve can be easily done without any tools.

- Guaranteed Acess

Via the control plate the interior of the in-wall cisterns, can be rapidly accessed and all components can be easily removed for maintenance.

Solid Wall - brick lined Direct This wall installation system should be selected when installing the cistern in a solid wall that will be brick-lined with a floor-standing toilet.

Solid Wall - brick lined Simflex System This wall installation system should be selected when installing the cistern in a solid wall that will be brick lined with a wall-hung toilet.

Drywall Sanitarblock System The Sanitarblock installation system can be used in drywall applications as well as solid wall applications. The main advantage of the system is the ease and speed of safely installing a cistern with a wall-hung toilet. The Sanitarblock system is equipped with a Fast Fit system for fixing the frame to the load bearing walls. In compliance with French Standard NF XP-D12 208 (400 kg).

Drywall Sanitarblock Free-Standing The Sanitarblock free-standing installation system is used in drywall applications with a wall-hung toilet. The main advantage of the system is the ease and speed of safely installing a concealed cistern with a wallhung toilet without the need of any type of wall. The feet of the Sanitarblock Free-standing system are designed so that the structure offers good resistance when only secured to the floor; load resistance is guaranteed in compliance with the French Standard NF XPD12 208 (400 kg).
