I dedicate this book to my grandmother, Alicia, whom always told me to stay strong in tough times using her unique and meaningful love.

Deforestation (Assonance)

I Want to Try and Light a Fire Smoke Runs High in the Sky Cozy as Can Be I got to Sleep then Sigh Waking Up I Turn my Side My Eyes see Fire While it Flies Into The Trees I See my Forest Die

Amelia (ALLITERATION)

Righteous. Caring. Ready. Riding Right Beside Her Brings Comfort and Self-Confidence Positive Rhythms Running Through Her Never a Down Beat Joyful as can Be, With Red Round Cheeks Never a Sad Beat Writing with Honor Never a Gloomy Beat Positivity is Inevitable Righteous. Caring. Ready. Rapid Success is Waiting for Her Friends Always do You Right But None More Right Then Rich.

Ring After Ring (Onomatopoeia)

In the Mornings Barely Awake CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! The Alarm-Like Bells Go A Long Day Commences Still Tired Brrring! Brrring! Brrring! As if the First Bells weren’t Loud Enough The Continuation But with Slight Excitement For Energy Just a Light Mellow Jingling and Ringing For the End of it All Being Free from Stress Solitude.

Fly

(SIMILES AND METAPHORS) “Chirp! Chirp!” Comfortable at Home with the Full Family of Mine We Always Flew as One Flock We Always Flew Together Peeking my Head Over my Nest Like an Excited Little Boy I Saw a Strange Man Holding a Long Stick in His Hands Someone had Just Left The Nest BANG! Startled I Was and I Saw a Bird Fall to the Ground As a Mirror Breaks Away from a Frame Just Looking at Someone’s Face May Not Reveal Hidden Stories Like Someone Cannot Judge a Book By Its Cover

Existence

(PERSONIFICATION) I Sit Here Thinking of Existence While Aurora Borealis Dances Above Me As it It Drawing a Picture With its Docile Paint Brush But I Want to Think Further! Beyond the Sky To the Stars and Galaxies The Galaxy Opens its Door To Its Mansion of Worlds It Seems as if We Are a Cabinet In the Mansion of the Galaxy Returning to my Present Mind, I See how Big and Strong We Think We Are Like We Can Just Pour The World Into A Glass While We are Just Small and Powerless Creatures.

ABA (RHYME)

using kindness and affection with her timely attention showing her love like a gentle dove I remember her strong and fearless help and assistance were needless always independent needed no direction but through tears and laughter we had a great connection how beautiful both inside and out using words of wisdom with no dought Although shes gone and alone am i I will still remember her by her beautiful eye

Self Thoughts of the Self Thoughts of the1920s 1920s

“I am on an East Day While I want to be on a West Day” Only to be with Her With Those Luscious Bobs Snap Out of It! You shouldn't be thinking of women As if You fall for Them Just go to a Speakeasy thenOh wait but I heard there was a Police Raid Last Week Actually Better Wait I live in this City of Fashion And I Can’t Find Another Woman With the Nice Feathered Headband I Am just too Good for “Her” Am I?

There she Comes Looking Beautiful as Ever With her hair put down Ready to Dine She looked so pretty in the read cotton dress in the read cotton dress and the shoes oh the shoes! Walking this way with such an elegant sound with black shining heels The smooth leather glistened They must have cost a fortune Delicious was the food but not as sweet at her kiss

Hostile (Tone)

“You stole my Girl. I know he had asked her out before i did but she was just too beautiful I hear the peaceful music with my aching bleeding ear

Drama Class (Hyperbole)

For My Drama Class I Had to Learn like a THOUSAND Words In A Song I didn't even get the best part In the whole entire world! Now instead of learning 1 million words

I have to learn like... 20 thousand pages of choreography I don't know why I stay I guess because It will be the best experience Of a middle school lifetime

Sonnet #1 Do'st thou ever deepest like an old bag Wrinkled, saggy, so light soaring through air Although underground none to hear you nag Thou spark ignites like a glistening like a flare Thou art not devoid of space that is waste Thine future can not be told on this day Greatness is something that will often taste Storms may come and rain but rainbows will stay Roads led to door that open new portals Thy heart will gleam like bright pyrotechnics Explosions in the sky like a immortals Stop watch goes off my heart boom boom boom ticks Thou spirit is sparkling like a hidden Gem the world will know thee and awaken
