1. VISUAL INSPIRATION The Underling Line. Bold, heavy typography underlined or surrounded by straight lines or hollow shapes. The mix of an authorative underline combined with a childlike shape demonstrates my sophisticated yet playful skill set that allows me to set the tone of my aesthetic through the varied thickness of linear work. Also using negative as a compositional design tool.


2. VISUAL INSPIRATION The Hackers Guide to Visual Identity. High tech application such as coding, surveilance and hacking influence typography and graphics in the digital era. The repetative text and organised visual language suggests a never ending flow of information. I aim to effectlively utilise the structured aesthetic in order for my personality of being organised and connoting my constant stream of ideas.


3. VISUAL INSPIRATION Arts & Crafts. The warm tones of terracotta, stone grey and clay work with chalk white and light wood tones for a tactile and materials-focused direction where embossed golds and weathered brass adds a rough shine to the palette. Autumn/Winter 16/17 encompasses dusty shades of off-white, pink and tan yellow.

Colour Scheme


Business Card After designing a logo, proportion, scale and composition were experimented with in order to identify the best visual identity. Below are final images of my business card, both front and back.

The logo is centred with a big enough size to be seen and become recognisable with the reverse structured in order to reflect my visual inspirations of coding and hacking.
