Welcome! Hello Division 1! My name is Olivia Heng and I am your 2021-2022 Lieutenant Governor :D I am a senior at Ocean City High School and am passionate about aiding my community through volunteerism + Key Club! As LTG, I am responsible for supporting the Key Clubs within Division 1 and will act as a liaison between each club and the NJ District along with doing everything in my power to make this service year fun, memorable, and amazing! Can't wait to meet you all soon!

Fall RTCs It was amazing to see so many people at the virtual 2021 Fall Regional Training Conferences! I hope you enjoyed the presentations as much as I did, here's some highlights!

Fall Rally The NJ District started the service year off right with the first IN-PERSON event on October 10, 2021 at Six Flags Great Adventure! Thank you to everyone who attended, here are the highlights:

Youth Opportunities Fund One way Key Club International uses the annual dues is for the Youth Opportunities Fund, a grant all Key Clubs are eligible to apply for - at no cost! Successful grants award clubs from $250-$2,000 and the requirements can be read on the Key Club International page HERE or in the Linktree https://www.keyclub.org/youth-opportunities-fund/
Membership and Dues The service year has begun! The main recruitment audiences are the freshmen and sophomores. It is important to start getting them involved, so start brainstorming now!
DUES should be collected now to ensure your club gets them in by November 1st!

District Project Guide The District Project for this year is "Keeping the Garden State Green" and our amazing DPS committee has created a guide for you and your clubs to utilize throughout this service year! It holds valuable resources, such as our environmentally-aware service partners and templates when contacting possible clean-up locations.

GLC The Global Leadership Certificate Program is a FREE course that Key Club International is providing to all Key Clubbers! This program teaches around the three core values of fellowship, leadership, and service with courses such as "Voting: Our civic responsibility," "Strategic vs. tactical leadership," and "Passions in practice"! In addition, after completing the course, you will be honored on the KCI website!

Event Spotlight: If your club hosts a successful event, please contact me and I will share your accomplishments with the division! I encourage event collaborations between clubs, if you need help feel free to ask me!

Upcoming Events Divisional Council Meeting (DCM) We will be having our second DCM soon, so stay updated on Instagram and Remind once a date has been picked! (see page 12)
Key Leader This event will be a weekend full of fantastic speakers, educational workshops, and, of course, the chance to meet new Key Clubbers! Join us on November 12 - 14!
