We’re happy to announce that Yank Barry (@YankBarry), Chairman and Founder of Global Village Champions Foundation, has joined the Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences!
Yank is a three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee who enjoyed 30 years in the music industry as a singer, composer, arranger, producer and publisher. Yank’s philanthropic efforts have now expanded from feeding the hungry around the world to freeing and caring for refugees who escaped terror in Syria, Iraq and Iran. Yank Barry is a philanthropist, musician and food entrepreneur.
Yank, along with his friend and partner Muhammad Ali and his wife, Yvette, have fed over a BILLION meals to the lost and forgotten worldwide through Global Village Champions Foundation. Yank is a three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee who enjoyed 30 years in the music industry as a singer, composer, arranger, producer and publisher. Yank’s philanthropic efforts have now expanded from feeding the hungry around the world to freeing and caring for refugees who escaped terror in Syria, Iraq and Iran. His work has been profiled on CNN and NBC News and written about by The Jerusalem Post, Reuter’s and many other news outlets around the world.
He is chairman of Vitapro, a leader in soy and the makers of ProPectin, which protects against the cancerous effects of radiation exposure
