The Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards, honoring six outstanding individuals who are driving change for the common good, will take place Thursday evening at the Omni Louisville Hotel. In addition to honoring six young people, the award ceremony will also recognize the core principles of Muhammad Ali's life. The honorees for the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards include Dr. Pearse Lyons, founder of Alltech, Inc.; his son Mark, CEO of Alltech; and Lisa Curtis, age 30. The awards honor individuals who have devoted significant parts of their lives to humanitarianism and philanthropy. The awards ceremony will be live streamed from the Ali Center website. The awards include two categories: one honoring those who are under 30 years old, and another honoring people over the age of 50. The Young Adult category honors those who are under 30 years old.
