This Portfolio is aimed at reflecting my professional and personal development since 2012 - the turning point from marketing and business career to the design world. Before graduating with Master of Interior design from ELISAVA, Barcelona, I have graduated with MSc at Lund University, Sweden, in International Business and Marketing field. Afterwards, I have worked for 1 year in the Branding team of Lexus Europe, Brussels. After, in 2012, I have been working with actual refurbishment and landscape projects in my hometown, and then the studies in IED Madrid, BAU Barcelona and ELISAVA Barcelona have followed. During my design formation in Spain, I was fortunate to work with the Ciszak Dalmas Studio (http://www.ciszakdalmas. com) - rewarded Italian studio, based in Madrid, whose clients portfolio include Bosa, Max&Co, Muro shoes, etc. Currently I am working for one of the top design furniture editors BD Barcelona Design. There, I am engaged in both commercial and creative parts of the company life - marketing (partially art direction) and sales - making use of my both formations. Nowadays, the biggest exitment from the design career is to be more and more interdisciplinary. New problems bring new solutions. Creation of the spaces for the people well-being is the main objective along with the rethink, redesign and reuse matter. There is no limits for perfection and growth, while creating the responsible designs of tomorrow for better life.

2016 Wrapping around Santa&Cole Offices & Showroom Project
Santa & Cole’s headquarters are situated on a generous park complex, whose interior is designed to function for creative minds dedicated to curating design. Originally building had good balance between large open office spaces and individual offices or quiet/meeting areas. To set a smoother transition between these spaces on two levels of the total 2.500 m2, we have created a linear wood membrane. It is connected between the floors through double-height openings. This membrane absorbs different types of functions: it organizes, it showcases products, it divides and creates spaces but it also offers glimpses into other rooms, pass through portals, show-windows, niches, bookcase and storage. There is a showroom and museum located on the first floor, to be visited by clients, architects, designers and students. The design reflects the corporate identity on its simplicity and traditional roots. The overall space has a home-like atmosphere that takes in warmly the world of Santa & Cole.

On the first floor at the entry we have placed the ‘welcome totem’ of S&C, showcasing the company’s main products directions and corporate values - classics of modern design - decorative lighting, furniture, urban elements, trees and editorial products. Further on this floor we have a touch down area & editorial corner, showroom contract, showroom residential, museum S&C (visitors areas, that serve also as informal appropriation areas for workers), cafeteria, technical department working areas, chief editors offices and prototype laboratory. On the second floor the semi open office layout is interrupted with the social axis of the library and rest area with access to terrace. There is a balanced distribution of the one-to-one informal meeting areas. At the entry we have also located hot desking area. On the right part of the floor plan we have three closed meeting rooms and the GM office.

Membrane
Linear wooden membrane is created to absorb the functional value of the space division, storage and as visual showcase boxes for the products. Also it is coherent with the ambiance of the beautiful rational architecture of 60th and the surrounding nature of the park Belloc. Double skin runs on the left hand side of the main circulation, and is connected in between the floors through 2 openings. It is designed to be functional on both sides with the 35 cm depth shelving. The niches for sitting or furniture display, have the full depth of 80 cm. Door portals in the membrane are framed by 3 mm aluminum sheet with the glass sliding door running in between the shelves. The closed spaces with openings are closed with glass, meanwhile the public spaces are fully open.

2015 Reader’s Gardens Residential Design Project
The Residential Project on the 21st floor of the emblematic Colon Building in Barcelona, is aimed to convert the whole floor, currently used as the offices, to the single family residence. The clients are the couple and 5 grown up children, all different in their occupations and tastes. The guidelines of the project were mainly derived by the spectacular 360o view on Barcelona city, and the common passion of the family members for reading, and numerous library. The protagonism in this project was given to library bloques, wide spaces full of air and light, vegetation and particular connection between the rooms. The apartment has got the unique ambiance of the single landscape, connection with the surrounding. A truly inspiring reader’s garden.

We have allocated the ‘Social spaces’, the living rooms, on the two axes of the floor plan, joined by the corridor ‘bridge’ (ex elevators doors masqued by false and functional doors of the access and storage). Further, distributed equally 4 solid cubes on the floor plans. Those ones are the libraries outside and the bathrooms inside - called ‘serving’ cubes for the family. They clearly mark their independence and protagonism in the space. Being the only solid volumes, they act as space defining role in this project.

Detail Library-Bathroom
Initially it was decided that the libraries do not reach the ceiling to be free standing volumes. The metallic T profiles system from painted aluminum, mounted each 60cm, receives the glass, when needed. The vertical shelving is marked in 30, 60 and 90 cm distance. Some shelves were made of glass to contribute to visual lightness of the frequently located 30 cm hight shelves. Outside shell is made of oak wood. Bathrooms are finished in the mirco concrete, with previous careful hydro isolation.
Visual connection between the rooms has triggered our interest towards further connection between the spaces . We have designed perimeter running furniture, that enters and comes out of the rooms, changing the function accordingly. It is always accompanied by the interior garden, making life more fluent and organic in this apartment. The privacy of the rooms is secured with the wardrobe bloques, that work as the bed rest from one side and the wardrobe from another side. Inside they absorb various electric and climate installations, as well. The integration of the curtains with a gentle texture color guarantees the full privacy and coziness to the rooms, when needed.

Green Table
The ‘green’ perimeter furniture has floating appeal. It is randomly hanged on the structural columns of the building. We have designed the metallic structure, that not only maintains the table with its integrated shallow drawers, but also all the front container for the relocation of the hydro pods with vegetation. This system allows easy maintenance of the interior garden. The tables are equipped by the electric plugs.

Concept Residential Project This project is the conceptual draft on
the essentials features of the social, sustainable and self-functional housing. It was prepared for the Korean student competition on Interior design solutions considering these aspects. Reasonable consumption of resources and energy are achievable with the help of window and ventilation systems, as well as green roof and solar panels elements. The house is projected in two big topographic shapes, making its natural environment the main furniture. The social dimension of house is crucial on each level. By committing to the open space to reinforce the communication in between family members, also acknowledge the need for the private space for thinking and meditation. Double Skin The foundation is an individual mono pillar ‘stones cushion’ independently movable during seismic activity. Sleek shape of the house, different hight of the ‘double skin’ segments and equi-proportional distribution of the openings - facilitate the maximum natural air circulation. The house is also equipped with solar panels, and rain water storage.

Tiny Studio
Low Cost Refurbishment A complex reconstruction project in the historic city center of Lviv. The owners of the 90 m2 apartment wanted to do the vacational rent via Airbnb. She was offered to separate 18 m sq. of the old kitchen and the closet from the original apartment, (initially it had another entrance from the interior common balcony). The outcome are two apartments - one apartment ttl. 72 m2 and another 2 level studio of ttl. 29 m2.
Floor Plan
The styling of the apartment was mainly driven by the recycling of some existing decorative items and the desire of the client to maintain the local identity, that has become a signature style of the many local cafes and hostels.
Original Plan
The original building’s ceiling hight is 4m, that allowed to have the 2 m height of the sleeping sofa area at the 1st level and 1.8 m at the second bed-wardrobe level.

Hosteling Project
This project is about converting the 3 floor private building, used as offices, into the hosteling complex of 6 small apartments on the 1st and 2d floors and 2 rooms with shared bathroom. The rental was aimed at Airbnb or was also considered as the housing for young professionals employed in IT sector. The idea was to use the budget means to achieve low amortization cost and to create easy going environment for the people staying there. Original office ceilings and lamps were partially preserved, as well as floors and some wall finishes.
