11th HEALTH ASIA 2015 Setting New Milestones in Health & Pharma Sector Exhibitions in the Region The 11th edition of the Health Asia Int’l Exhibition & Conferences was held from 8-10 September 2015 at Karachi Expo Centre, Pakistan, setting a new milestone in Health & Pharma sector exhibitions in the region. The exhibition covered a total area of 137,000 sqft, showcasing more than 350 brands from over 45 countries. Approximately 700+ international and domestic exhibitors showcased their products and services. Over 390 foreign delegates from more than 45 countries including China, Singapore, India, USA, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, Iran, Switzerland, U.K, U.A.E., Japan, France, Italy, Turkey, Taiwan, Russia etc. graced the event and approximately 75,000 trade visitors visited the event during the 3 days. This mega extravaganza also witnessed 11 CME Accredited Workshops / Seminars conducted by renowned trainers / doctors during 3 days. Health Asia & Pharma Asia provides enormous opportunities for learning, information sharing, mutual cooperation and combined projects to all the stakeholders in the Asian health sector. Since its inception, the event has proved to be the best across the entire spectrum of health care as it integrates delivering the best interactive opportunities to participants and an ideal environment to the audiences. In short, the exhibition delivers to exhibitors the right balance between health industry players, senior decision makers and practitioners. Pakistan has shown tremendous spoce for manufacturing and export in the pharmaceutical industry in recent times. The exhibition thus aims to focus on the immense potential in the the sector, bring pharmaceutical/surgical instruments, accessories, raw material supplies and allied services under one roof, thus providing one of Pakistan's best export items with an opportunity to promote inter/intra industrial cooperation and prospective joint ventures among local and foreign partners. The event was organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. with the support of the Federal & Provincial Ministries of Health, Board of Investment (BOI), Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA), Pharma Bureau of Information and Statistics, Surgical Instrument Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (SIMAP), Pakistan Society of Anaesthesiologists (PSA), Friends of Cardiac Surgery (FCS), Dow University of Health Science (DUHS), Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre(JPMC) and numerous government departments/bodies.
