WE PREPARE THE YOUNG PEOPLE IN OUR CARE TO EMBRACE AND SUCCEED IN INDEPENDENT LIVING. This process begins the moment a Young Person comes into our care. Our staff and especially the Key worker, will work with the Young Person in gaining the skills they will ultimately need to become a self-sufficient and confident individual. In helping our Young People grow toward independence we are fortunate to have a member of our staff team who has 4 years’ experience working for a
Leaving Care Project in London. Holli assisted Young People in making the transition from care into everyday life. She supported them in accessing Education, helped them find work, and acted as a sounding board for their fears and concerns as they navigated this difficult transition. This experience and knowledge will be used to inform and support our Young People where appropriate.
