Summer Fun at The Salvation Army Kroc Center he Salvation Army Kroc Center is the place to be as temperatures soar and the scent of sunscreen fills the air. We have something for everyone, indoors and outdoors, from aquatics; adult and youth sports leagues; fitness, life skills, and art classes; camps and Vacation Bible School to local, regional and national musical talent showcased all summer long.
In June the Kroc will present “On Stage,” featuring music and theater performances, and on July 14 we are delighted to showcase Esprit de Corps, a group comprised of more than 70 high school musicians from 20 churches around the region.
This past winter we launched the Kroc Live Concert Series with a performance by Selah during Winterfest, followed by Unspoken and Citizen Way in April. We are thrilled to feature more world-class Christian music this summer and fall, so be sure to visit OmahaKroc.org for updates and concert listings.
We are so blessed to be able to offer outstanding enrichment and entertainment for people of all ages across the region. This summer at the Kroc Center is the perfect opportunity to “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).
Plus, be sure to stop by our outdoor amphitheater on Wednesday evenings to enjoy free, family-friendly concerts under the stars all summer long.
May God bless you richly this season. Captains John and Tracy Gantner

Insanity Forget everything you think you know about high-intensity workouts. Because Insanity turns old-school interval training on its head to get you insane results in just 60 days. You work flat out in 3 to 5-minute blocks, and take breaks only long enough to gulp some air and get right back to work. It’s called Max Interval Training because it keeps your body working at maximum capacity through your entire workout. Zumba® Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got Zumba®. This is a 50-minute class and all fitness levels are welcome. Maximum class size of 35 individuals – arrive early to get a spot!

Yoga Our yoga classes combine traditional yoga concepts and techniques with Western scientific and medically based knowledge. Yoga works towards an understanding of body awareness using breathing techniques, stress reduction, relaxation, and increased range of motion in all major muscle groups while enhancing strength and flexibility. Please know that one can practice yoga postures without adopting Eastern philosophies or religions. Yoga classes are for anyone who can comfortably get up and down from the floor.
