President’s Message Dear Marian Community, One of the most humbling yet joyful aspects of my job as president is writing thank you notes to Marian donors. I especially love writing a note of gratitude to the young alumna who has fulfilled her first-year Senior Gift Pledge of $5. It tells me that she “gets it.” At a young age, she knows it is important to give back and, in all likelihood, she has seen a philanthropic commitment modeled by her parents. Each year, gifts from alumnae are essential in continuing Marian’s tradition of excellence. Even if she gives only $5, she is making a heartfelt statement. She is saying that she values her Marian experience and is motivated to support our current students by investing in Marian’s future. What a powerful message this sends! Starting on page 16, we recognize all alumnae donors in 2013-2014 who supported Marian through contributions to The Marian Fund. Their gifts were immediately put to use and impacted the lives of every Marian student by funding tuition assistance, technology upgrades and faculty/staff development. In addition to The Marian Fund, there are other gift options that can shape Marian’s future in the long term. Planned giving, sometimes called legacy giving, is a crucial source of funding that enables Marian to permanently secure its future by building a robust endowment. Planned gifts allow you to design a thoughtful strategy that benefits Marian and preserve your values, leaving a meaningful legacy that will provide support to academic excellence for generations to come. I invite you to contact Karen Cimpl Hotz ’79, Marian’s new vice president for advancement, at 402.571.2618, ext. 1119 or khotz@omahamarian.org and explore the impact your legacy gift could have on Marian. Let us also show you how planned giving opportunities can support your personal objectives such as tax benefits, income for life and estate planning. If you have already included Marian in your legacy giving plans, we would like to know of your support so that we may recognize you as a member of the Marian Society. We encourage all alumnae, parents of alumnae and even grandparents of alumnae to consider including Marian as the beneficiary of one of their top three charitable donations within their legacy giving plans. There simply is no better way to guarantee that Marian will be there for the next generation of confident, independent, thinking leaders!

Gratefully,

Mary Higgins ’69 President

Marian Today Since Marian opened its doors in 1955, the young women who have come and gone have continued to prove themselves as empowered, confident, independent, thinking leaders; today Marian is no different. Our Marian girls are embracing leadership roles in the classroom, on the stage, on the court and in their community.

College Research Moves into High School Ranks Twelve Marian seniors spent the fall 2014 semester working with two Marian teachers and four Creighton University math professors to conduct original research projects. These students, each members of Marian’s new honors independent research study course, presented their findings to their peers in early December. Research topics included such areas as pain, diabetes in Africa, the effect of caffeine on teenagers, concussions, judging literary merit, how listening to music affects studying for the ACT and dreams. Modeled after an honors class taught at Creighton, the course was led by Sharon Genoways, chair of the science department, and Tom Baker, social studies department chair. Genoways and Baker worked with Creighton math professors John Mordeson and Davender Malik to initiate the class, an elective for seniors, at Marian. The Marian seniors’ research will be published in a journal, funded through a Creighton endowment, that the students have chosen to call Mosaic. All research projects incorporated some use of fuzzy math to reach conclusions about a vast array of topics. Not only were students required to reach out to experts in the field, but they also had to write papers in the style required by many colleges. Several of the seniors have already used their research to engage in dialogue with college recruiters. These recruiters have been amazed with the quality of their work and choice of topics. Marian will continue to offer the class to Marian seniors, and Creighton has already suggested the program to other area high schools and beyond.

JOURNALISM Earns National Recognition Marian journalism students received national recognition for their work in yearbook cover design, feature photography and writing at the 2014 National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) Contest in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 8. The 2014 yearbook cover received third place in the National Design of the Year competition, Illustration Division! It was a staff effort last year to create this cover, but it was primarily the work of Anna Krettek ’14, Jill Salerno ’14 and Meghan Schumacher ’14. The three current seniors who were in attendance at the convention, Emmie McMinn, Taylor Eicher and Blair Kellner, accepted their plaques in front of 6,200 students at the awards ceremony. In the NSPA Photo of the Year competition, 2014 yearbook photo editor Shannon Smith ’14 was a finalist in the Feature Photo category. Her photo of the Dance Team girls preparing for a dance captivated the crowd and was named first place! Emmie McMinn, photo editor for the 2015 Network, humbly accepted her award. McMinn also received honorable mention in the conference’s Newspaper Sports Photography category. McMinn was also recognized with an Honorable Mention in the Newspaper Sports Photography category. In their spare time, the group met up with Jenna Johnson ’03, who gave the girls a personal tour of D.C. and shared stories of her reporting for the Washington Post. Johnson is excited to be assigned to the 2016 presidential race for the Post. Last year, she spent time in Turkey covering Syrian refugees. Marian journalism students will take advantage of the other national JEA/ NSPA high school journalism convention of the school year, in Denver, Colo. in April. Next fall’s convention is in Orlando.

JOURNALISM Receives Highest Award for Excellence The 2014 Network newspaper and Crusader yearbook earned the “Highest Award for Journalism Excellence in Nebraska’s High School Publications” at the Nebraska High School Press Association Fall Convention in October. The online version of the Network, edited almost exclusively by Lizzie Erftmier ’14, also earned a superior rating, the highest award Marian journalism has ever received in the web category! You can check out this award-winning publication by visiting its website, http://omahamariannetwork.wordpress.com. You may also check out the 2015 Network at http://mariannetwork2015. wordpress.com.

Both were commended because of their rigorous commitment to academic leadership and their ongoing dedication to Marian’s high standards. Katlyn Martin ‘15 has been named the Class of 2015 Salutatorian. Martin was awarded this honor because of her dedication to academic success and her proven ability to meet and exceed her own goals and expectations. Marian congratulates all three ladies on these outstanding academic achievements.

TWO SENIORS RECOGNIZED

Among Omaha’s Top High School Communicators Omaha’s best and brightest aspiring high school communicators, including Marian seniors Grace Bradford and Samantha Chaney, were honored Nov. 11 at a recognition event sponsored by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications and the Omaha World-Herald. Bradford, Chaney and their parents attended a dessert reception at the Omaha World-Herald, where the students were honored for their scholastic accomplishments. They were nominated by their high school teachers or guidance counselors. This is the second year of the event, which recognizes high-achieving and motivated students who are interested in careers in advertising, broadcasting, journalism and public relations.

LARGEST CLASS YET INDUCTED INTO NHS Nearly 90 juniors and seniors – one of the largest groups in school history – were inducted into the Marian Chapter of the National Honor Society on Nov. 19. President Mary Higgins ‘69 provided congratulatory remarks to the students. Membership is based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership and service.

Faculty Spends Holiday SERVICE & SPIRITUALITY

Dear Friends of Marian, Some basic truths are right there before everyone’s eyes, but not perceived. When such a truth is discovered, it’s not because of a long process of reasoning. It simply comes in a sudden flash of insight. It just plain dawns on a person. For example, children, even teenagers, sometimes think that everything their parents do for them is simply what mothers and fathers do—wash the clothes, make and serve the meals, earn the money, care for them when they’re sick, stay at home with them in the evenings. Children take all of this for granted, like the air they breathe. When do sons and daughters suddenly realize that all this was hard work, sacrifice? Many adults say that they themselves didn’t get this flash of insight until they had children. Suddenly, they saw everything differently.

Helping Less Fortunate With students off for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Marian faculty and staff spent the holiday making fleece blankets and scarves for Omaha’s less fortunate. The 80 staff members sewed and hand-tied a total of 46 scarves and 48 blankets. “We always encourage our students to support those in need, and it’s key that we do the same,” said President Mary Higgins ’69. “This project reminds us of the importance of giving, and we hope we can make a small difference in the community.” At the end of the day, Marian divided the items evenly and donated them to the Heart Ministry Center and to the Open Door Mission, two organizations that provide basic necessities to Omaha’s most impoverished men, women and children.

When do God’s sons and daughters realize that everything they have really comes from God, belongs to God, and that they are stewards and managers of goods that don’t belong to them…that God intended that they use these gifts for the benefit of others? It dawns on some people early in life, some on their deathbed, and others miss it entirely. If and when it does come, it usually doesn’t come from a long reasoning process. It’s one of those deep-down truths that simply dawns on a person in a flash of insight. It is, in the end, a grace from God. To catch that insight, and live by it, is called stewardship. (Bishop Ken Untener from the Diocese of Saginaw, MI; The Little Burgundy Book: Reflections on Stewardship in Light of the Gospel of John) The excerpt above was written by a man known as “the practical prophet” to his congregation. He was well-respected and loved as a simple servant to his fellow Christians. He made the Gospels come to life by how he lived his life. At Marian, the six core values of Marian identity, empowerment, service, spirituality, compassion and community articulate the philosophy upon which the Servants of Mary established the school. These values are integrated into every aspect of the Marian community and correspond to the family values taught to each student. For some, the values can be recited when necessary and occasionally be enacted with some encouragement or suggestion of another. It is hoped for all that the values become part of a way of living and are carried on throughout life. We see these values well lived in the lives of our Marian alums and the members of the Marian community. The ministries they choose, the service they provide through those ministries or volunteer work, their care for and love of family, their participation in Church communities and their outreach to those in need all over the world all model what it means to live the Gospel life. They and Marian have been graced by God through the good works of so many. Gratefully,

Marian students show solidarity after French terrorist attack In solidarity with its Servite sister school in Paris after the Jan. 7 terrorist attack, Marian campus ministry coordinators organized an impromptu photo shoot at lunchtime on Wednesday Jan. 15. Students held up signs to show their support. The signs read, “You are in our prayers,” and “We are in solidarity with you,” translated into French. Students filled in the posters’ white space with their handwritten names, inspirational messages and drawings of the French and American flags. The photo was sent via email to Blanche de Castille, Marian’s Servite sister school in Paris. Marian and Blanche de Castille are both members of the International Servite Schools Nework (ISSN).

Marian Celebrates MISSION WEEK During the week of Nov. 17 to 21, Marian celebrated its annual Mission Week. Founded by the Servants of Mary, Marian is a member of the International Servite Schools Network (ISSN). All ISSN member schools are dedicated to six Core Values—Empowerment, Compassion, Marian Identity, Spirituality, Community and Service. To gain a deeper understanding of Marian’s six Core Values, students, faculty and staff focused on one of the Core Values each day. To reflect the Core Value of Service, the Marian community, in partnership with Operation Others, held a peanut butter and jelly drive during the week. The food donations were included in holiday food packages and delivered to 1,600 families in need over the holiday season. The activities are sponsored by Marian’s Esprit de Corps club. The week’s activities were as follows: Monday, Nov. 17 – Compassion Students randomly passed on clothespins with inspiring messages throughout the day. The clothespins were attached to the students’ backpacks for them to find by surprise. Tuesday, Nov. 18 – Community Students, faculty and staff enjoyed a free lunch with Servants of Mary. Wednesday Nov. 19 – Marian Identity Sadie Ahsan ’15 and theology teacher Mr. Kory Delkamiller shared reflections on Marian Identity during a morning prayer service. Thursday, Nov. 20 – Spirituality The entire school gathered for a Grandparents’ Day Mass. Students took some time to appreciate their grandparents and reflect on their faith traditions. Nearly 700 grandparents attended. Read more about this event on page 14 . Friday, Nov. 21 – Empowerment Students reflected on how empowerment is demonstrated in the halls of Marian and then wrote examples on a large poster in the school.

Marian Builds Homes, Connections through International Servite Schools Network Conference From Sept. 28 to Oct. 3, Marian hosted the International Servite Schools Network (ISSN) Inter national Conference. A total of 18 international student delegates and 33 teachers representing the countries of Australia, Canada, England, France, India, Italy, Mexico, and the U.S. joined Marian students and staff to strengthen the Servite bond that so uniquely unites their schools. Present on five continents, the ISSN is a globally recognized collection of schools, founded and/or run by the Order of the Servants of Mary, that actively live the Servite values. Through dynamic partnerships and cultural exchanges, the ISSN aims to create stronger bonds among the Servite schools and highlight the common history they share. The theme for the conference was “Servite Values in Education.” The activities planned for each day of the conference were based on the Core Values that the schools share—Compassion, Empowerment, Community, Marian Identity, Spirituality and Service. On Oct. 2, students participating in the ISSN Conference spent their afternoon sawing, nailing, drilling and framing during a “Day of Service.” In partnership with Habitat for Humanity, students helped build a home in North Omaha for those in need. In addition, delegates visited Omaha area-attractions, including the historic Old Market, the Durham Western Heritage Museum, the Henry Doorly Zoo and Vala’s Pumpkin Patch.

“The whole experience has been amazing,” said Melissa Colalillo, a junior from Servite College in Perth, Australia. “We work really well together. Even though we were only there for a few days, we still made a big difference. It’s great to know that people from all over the world share the same values and enjoy helping others.”

The driving purpose of the conference was to encourage students of many cultures to interact with and learn from each other. Several Marian families provided housing accommodations to the international students, where they were able to relax, get to know each other and share family meals. The next ISSN International Conference will take place in Paris in 2017.

Marian ranked No. 2 in state championships since 1999-2000 Trailing just one point behind Creighton Prep, Marian is the second-most decorated athletic program in Nebraska in terms of state titles. Despite being eligible to compete in about half of the 19 sports that are sponsored by the Nebraska School Activities Association, Marian has taken home more than its fair share of championship hardware, claiming 141 individual state championships and 142 state team titles since 1999-2000.

Crusaders meet Team USA coach and former Husker The Marian varsity volleyball team had the pleasure of hosting two volleyball legends as Team USA head coach Karch Kiraly and former Husker and current Team USA player Kayla Banwarth visited Marian on Dec. 11. Marian’s repeat state championship victory caught the attention of the coach and his U.S. team, currently ranked No. 1 in the world. The Crusaders shared their state trophy and the U.S. members shared their gold medals from the 2014 World Championships. Kiraly also asked the Crusaders what it took to upset undefeated Papillion-La Vista for the state title. After many autographs and even a few “selfies,” it was a day of inspiration that Marian volleyball players will never forget. Kiraly and his world-ranked U.S. team will defend their title in Omaha this summer when the 2015 World Grand Prix is held at the CenturyLink Center. The six-team, five-day tournament will run July 22 to 26.

Tehillah Alphonso ’16 was selected for the 2015 High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall. She joined the finest high school performers from across North America and select schools internationally to sing Alto II with the elite Honors Choir at Carnegie Hall on Feb. 22. Participation in the Honors Performance Series is limited to the highest-rated high school performers from across the world. Alphonso auditioned in the spring of 2014 for the Honors Choir, one of three Honors Ensembles, and was selected from a pool of 10,000 international musicians after a review by the Honors Selection Board. “Being selected for the Honors Choir is proof that all of my hard work is paying off,” Alphonso said. “It’s a sign of just how much I’ve grown as a vocalist >ÌÊ >À > Ê> `Ê} ÛiÃÊ iÊ>Ê Õ}iÊL ÃÌÊ vÊV w`i ViÊ as I consider a career in the music industry.” Alphonso rehearsed and performed under Dr. Eph Ehly and had the opportunity to perform at the legendary Carnegie Hall before invited representatives from collegiate and professional music programs. Though much of her time was focused on performance preparation, Alphonso was also able to experience the best of the sights and the performance arts in New York City.

“Little Mermaid” Makes Waves Marian pulled out all the stops for its fall 2014 musical, Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” when it hit the Ron and Pauline Wilwerding Stage inside the Mary Joy and Tal Anderson Performing Arts Center in November. For the first time in school history, every seat in the show’s two-weekend run was completely sold out! Not only was “The Little Mermaid” Marian’s first Disney show in its 40year musical history, but it was also the biggest! With 60 cast members, 47 backstage crew and seven in the orchestra pit, audience members traveled “under the sea” with all their fairy tale favorites, including Ariel, Ursula the Sea Witch, Sebastian and Flounder. Until recently, Disney had only allowed professional theater companies to perform “The Little Mermaid.” As part of a pilot program, Disney supplied Marian with scripts and orchestration to be used in the production. In turn, Marian was expected to fully produce the show with school-aged performers, including sets and costumes, and act as a testing ground to gauge how other schools might best stage the musical in the future. Marian would like to thank the entire community for their support of the performing arts. “The Little Mermaid” will go down as one of Marian’s most memorable musical productions.

Each year, approximately 3,000 of the best high school musicians and vocalists in the state audition for the Nebraska All-State Band, Chorus, Jazz Band and Orchestra. Selection as a member of one of these groups is one of the highest music honors attainable in the state of Nebraska. This year’s rehearsals took place Nov. 19-21 on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus, the host site of the 2014 NMEA Conference/Clinic. A final public concert was held on Nov. 21 at the Lied Center for the Performing Arts on the university’s campus.

Out of more than 3,000 member schools nationwide, Marian is one of only 110 to receive the Leading Chapter Award. Based on student participation, the award represents 685 members and degrees over 15 years. Only one school in each district attains this designation each year and must wait at least five years before being eligible again.

“Receiving the Leading Chapter Award is an incredible honor for the Marian speech program,” said Luke Ostrander, Marian’s speech coach. “Our school continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to academic leadership and it is great to see our students recognized nationally for their hard work in meeting the highest standards.” Last year, more than 70 students participated in Marian’s speech program, which consistently ranks among the top in the nation by the NSDA. Students compete successfully on the local, regional and national level. In 2013-2014, Marian achieved 100 degrees or more, ranking it among the top 10 percent in the nation and earning membership in the prestigious 100 Club for the fourth year in a row. At the national level, six out of 18 qualifiers advanced to quarter-finalist standings in three tournaments. Marian also had the national champion in humorous interpretation at the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions (NIETOC), the national runner-up in oral interpretation at the National Catholic Forensic League (NCFL) National Tournament and the national second runner-up in humorous interpretation at the NSDA Grand National Tournament.

CRUSADER CLASSIC Tradition Lives On SPEND A DAY AT MARIAN! All fifth through eighth-grade girls are invited to spend the day at Marian shadowing one of our students. Shadowing is an excellent way for girls to see what it is really like to be a Marian girl for a day. We kindly ask for two days’ notice for all shadow visits. We have a limit of 50 shadows per day and some days fill up quickly. Please contact Recruitment Director Molly Adams Woodman ’97 at 402.571.2618, ext. 1161 or mwoodman@omahamarian.org.

Marian welcomed 47 teams in grades four through eight to play in the Crusader Classic basketball tournament in January. Jr. Crusader Commissioner and parent of alumnae Todd Hoffmann worked with Marian head varsity basketball coach Lisa Schmidt to organize the three-day tournament, which was jam-packed with 71 games. Athletes, parents and coaches from Marian’s basketball program helped run the tournament. From keeping the scorebook, running the game clock and selling concessions, they made sure it was a “slam dunk!”

In addition to hosting another successful tournament, the following Jr. Crusader teams were crowned champions of their divisions: 4th Grade – Marian Jr. Crusaders Black and Marian Jr. Crusaders Blue 6th Grade – Marian Jr. Crusaders Blue

Annual Scholarship Breakfast Honors Donors On Oct. 22, Marian celebrated the generosity of the school’s endowed scholarship donors with the annual Endowed Scholarship Breakfast. These special gifts play an important role in making a faith-filled education a reality for Marian girls, empowering them to succeed as confident, independent, thinking leaders. The benefactors of the endowed scholarships and the student scholarship recipients enjoyed conversation, breakfast and music in the lobby of the Mary Joy and Tal Anderson Performing Arts Center. Logan Myers ’17, recipient of the Archdiocesan Annual Appeal Scholarship and the Murphy Family Endowed Scholarship, and Rebecca Williams ’17, also a recipient of the Archdiocesan Annual Appeal Scholarship, provided the welcome message and prayer. Violinists Ellie Messerschmidt ’18 and Sarah Villareal ’17 provided the musical entertainment. Emily McKenna ’16 gave her personal testimonial as a scholarship recipient of the Ken & Ann Johnson Endowed Scholarship. Emily thanked the donors for their generosity and shared the opportunities she has been blessed with during her years at Marian. Former Head of School Elizabeth Kish addressed the attendees with an inspiring message of the importance of giving to the Marian endowment. Kish is a benefactor of the Elizabeth Kish Scholarship and the Joseph & Blanche Kish Memorial Scholarship. The breakfast concluded with President Mary Higgins ’69 addressing the guests.

Nearly 700 grandparents joined their granddaughters for Marian’s annual Grandparents’ Day mass and celebration on Nov. 20. To accommodate the large crowd, the congregation was split into two sections. Grandparents and granddaughters were seated in the East Gym for Mass. The overflow of students and teachers were seated in the Mary Joy and Tal Anderson Performing Arts Center and viewed a simulcast of the Mass on a projector screen. The Mass was streamed live from a school iPad, operated by Kaitlyn Pfannenstiel ’16. Pfannenstiel’s dad, Tim Pfannenstiel provided technical assistance. The reception provided grandparents with the opportunity to have their photos taken with their granddaughters and visit with other students. That so many took the time to come to Marian and show their connection with and affection for their granddaughters meant a great deal to the students and to Marian. The event was held as part of Marian’s Mission Week. The theme of the day was Spirituality, one of Marian’s six Core Values. Students were able to gain a deeper understanding of this Core Value alongside their grandparents.

33RD ANNUAL MARIANFEST

Makes a Huge Splash More than 500 friends of Marian spent their evening on Feb. 21 under the sea, tasting delicious food and donating generously to support the 33rd annual MarianFEST (Funding Education in the Servite Tradition), Marian’s largest fundraising event of the year. This year’s event raised nearly $370,000, which supports tuition assistance, scholarships and general operating costs at Marian. The theme for the benefit dinner was “Under the Sea – Dive Deep for Education.” The theme was appropriate because Marian has been swept up in a “tidal wave” of excitement over its fall musical featuring Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.” Given the magnitude of this production, it was a natural transition to carry over the excitement to the MarianFEST stage. The theme was carried out in all aspects of the event. Marian’s gymnasiums and Quad area were completely transformed to resemble an underwater wonderland complete with artfully crafted giant jellyfish, dazzling blue and turquoise table linens and beautiful floral centerpieces. The stage’s enormous coral reef backdrop – borrowed from the set of “The Little Mermaid” – was the focal point of the dining hall. Professional lighting added to the entire underwater illusion. Entertainment was provided by two lead performers from Marian’s production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.” Charlotte Wortmann ’15, dressed in full costume as Ariel, sang the iconic song “Part of Your World” from the beloved fairy tale. Claire Davis ’16, dressed as Ursula, sang “Poor Unfortunate Souls.” Sr. Mary Gehringer, O.S.M. ’66, U.S. Community Prioress of the Servants of Mary, welcomed the crowd as they were seated for dinner. “When the Servants of Mary opened the doors to Marian in 1955, we promised never to turn a student away because of financial limitations. I am proud to say that this promise still holds true today, due in large part to your generosity,” said Gehringer. President Mary Higgins ‘69, kicked off the formal program. “Marian is such a special community, but it did not just spring out of the sea,” said Higgins. “It is our 8,800 alumnae and our current students who are the heart and soul of our school. They are the reason we are here tonight.” SAVE THE Anita Ramachandran ‘93 was the event’s Premier DATE Sponsor. Current faculty members Michelle Procopio Delisi ’74 and Tom Baker served as the mistress and master of ceremonies. Eric Mueller served as the MARIANFEST auctioneer. Executive chairs for MarianFEST 2015 were current parents Tom and Anne Byrne, David and Lori Loschen, Bryan and Kelly Mick, Eric and Staci Mueller SATURDAY, and Mike and Wendy Prosser. More photos are available FEBRUARY 20 on Marian’s website, www.marianhighschool.net.

MARIAN MUSICAL In gratitude for their leadership support of The Marian Fund and Spotlight on Our Future capital campaign, invited guests enjoyed a reception and reserved seating at the Nov. 1 showing of Marian’s fall musical, Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.” A crowd of 120 enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, desserts and refreshments in the Quad before the sold-out performance. Mr. Luke Ostrander, director of the musical, and President Mary Higgins ’69 offered a behind-thescenes look into the production of the musical. Ostrander also spoke to the audience about what it took to secure the rights to the show. Disney Theatrical Group selected Marian as one of only seven schools nationwide to pilot and perform “The Little Mermaid” onstage.

THE MARIAN FUND

ALUMNAE GIVING HISTORY Each year, gifts from alumnae are essential in creating Marian’s tradition of excellence. Gifts large and small touch every corner of the campus for the better, enriching the student experience and bolstering faculty resources. Giving back to Marian starts even before graduation day! It begins as a request for a “Senior Gift,” reminding each senior about the importance of giving to the school. Financially supporting Marian is one true indicator of love for and loyalty to one’s alma mater. It also happens to be a measure of excellence.

The tradition of giving at Marian is truly an investment in not only the success and advancement of the school but also in the futures of its students. We are grateful for the following alumnae donors who have supported The Marian Fund 2013-2014. Here, we recognize their continued giving history benchmarks and their class participation rates.
