An extremely complex and versatile character, Carmen is simultaneously repellent and sympathetic, lovely and hateful, understandable and irrational.
Carmen, the collection was inspired by this liberal mysterious strong Carmen woman, with her internal contradictory emotions which led to the tough dramatic ending of her existence.

A reflection of the gypsy female, with her wild and instinctual image, an effect which is clearly depicted through the collection vibrant pieces.
Rami Al Ali chose the fabric to match Carmen’s sharp character and evident charisma.

The prints come out strong, with sophisticated voluminous fabrics, light and flowing; overstated by crystallised tussles, frills, fringes which are applied in different ways, along with lots of layering; extending from organza, chiffon, silk, taffeta to stain and jacquard.
Rami has tried to emphasise the Spanish Matador costumes, the bolero jackets and the flamenco dancers’ effect into the collection’s cuts, silhouettes and colours.

The designs vary from narrow high waist pencil skirt, to curved hips, representing the ravishing modern woman. Colours are vibrant, wild, feminine and warm; where fuchsia is the new red, some dresses are festooned with gold shimmer and

champagne hues to give a perfect skin reflection to the Mediterranean look we are seeking, adorned with flourescent citron yellow and aqua turquoise.
