Studying Engineering

95% of engineering graduates are in work or further study within six months of graduating (Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey for the academic year 2016/17, published by HESA 2018.)

Hull has strengths in all areas of engineering and technology including design, manufacture, mechanical and chemical engineering.

Students can take advantage of facilities such as the new robotics and 3D printing laboratories.

Computer Science programs provide you with the skills experience and technical expertise to put you in high demand when it is time to enter the job market.

Mechanical Engineering is accredited by two leading industry bodies and offers a direct pathway to Chartered Engineer status.

Hull gives you the opportunity to study Chemical Engineering in a region with a high concentration of process industry companies, including BP, Total and Novartis which provides opportunities for placements and potential employment.

Studying Business, Law and Politics

As a business student you will benefit from professional accreditation or membership of professional bodies and/or exemptions from professional examinations.

Law

Law has been taught at Hull since 1927 and highly regarded both within academia and the legal profession.
