Celebrating a good start to a successful business To celebrate three months of prosperous trading Pushkin Antiques, located in a Grade II listed building on the High Street in Tunbridge Wells, threw a party for its clients and friends last month. The business was launched by husband and wife team Alexander and Olga Pushkin last September who, after relocating from Essex, decided to open a retail space to showcase their impressive collection of antiques and collectibles which they also sell online. The occasion saw guests enjoy flutes of Champagne and delicious Caviar canapes. “The evening couldn’t have gone any better, Champagne was pouring, the Caviar was on ice, the barman was shaking, and the singer was grooving’, the shop’s owner, Alexander told SO magazine. An avalanche of sales were made on the night including a stylish mid 20th century French football table, a monumental German silver beer tankard, not to mention various furniture pieces, vintage posters, and assorted silverware. “Most importantly the clients left the event happy and wanting more!” added Olga. We’ll drink to that!
