We Grow Together (WGT) for Climate Education & Entrepreneurship 2023 with no one left behind, including our Earth and Future Generations
In 2023 we managed to organize a youth participation project entirely by & for young people! This report shows that it is super inspiring to put young people in the lead and listen to their visions and ideas for an inclusive and climate -proof world.

A serious challenge!
1. 75% of young people* (worldwide) and now more and more adults 30+ are concerned about the climate, wars, inequality and their future.
Youth want to take action, but don’t know how to start and with who.
2. Youth has the future means: youngsters have important and good ideas for the next steps in the development of people and the earth.
It’s important that they can turn their ideas for change into projects and start-ups to implement the change they see.
This is why 11 NGO’s and 60 participants stood up in this project for ….

Why
Our project statement
the Right to Climate Education & Entrepreneurship for all youth
It’s very important that all youth have access to Climate Education and Entrepreneurship as soon as possible, because we have no time to waste!
So we can learn about the essential climate topics and work on ideas for change, turning them into hands-on local projects and start-ups for implementation of climate improvement in daily lives of many.
We can start this non-formal education by & for youngsters from different countries with support of our local communities and partners in collaboration with European and local decision makers.

BIG Surprise!
Our WGT Georgia Team won the European Climate Impact Award and € 1500,00 to plant a lot of trees in their village together with youth and the elderly!
2-day We Grow Together Dialogue about the Right to Climate Education & Entrepreneurship for all Youth
2 days organized by 4 youngsters, under the lead of Nienke
In 2022, Nienke (Netherlands) completed her minor in Slovenia with an essay about “Climate Change is a Human Right Issue” and took part in the 1st “WGT or Climate Education & Entrepreneurship” Youth Participation project that was organised by partners from 8 countries.
During this project she met Friedrich from Austria and Velida from Bosnia-Herzegovina and decided that she would like to organise the 2-day dialogue event during the next WGT for Climate Education & Entrepreneurship 2023 project.
And so it happened that the two-day Dialogue Event 2023 was undertaken entirely by and for young people with wonderful results!
The Dialogue theme became: The Right to Climate Education & Entrepreneurship for all Youth.
