ASUKerr will be reopening for their 2021-2022 season in Fall 2021 and guests will notice some major changes; the grounds now include a reception garden called The Crescendo, which was created when a permanent outdoor boundary was required for their brand-new liquor license. “It had been a dream for ASU Kerr to have its own liquor license,” says ASU Kerr General Manager Tracey Mason. “It allows us to enhance the patron experience with bar service, a beautiful, verdant outdoor gathering space and create a vital new income stream for the venue.” The liquor license was approved by the state in September 2020, while the facility was closed due to the pandemic. Mason anticipates that the first show in the 20212022 season, Guitars From Spain on October 28, will be the first public performance with alcohol service. A diverse lineup of evening shows is set for the upcoming season, with several artists presenting lively jazz concerts or blending jazz influences into their performances.

“In addition to the wonderful world music, folk, classical concerts and theater shows we offer, many styles of jazz are represented each season,” says Mason. “We were named ‘Best Place to Hear Live Jazz’ several years ago by azcentral.com.”
