Age UK Salford Celebrates 50 Years
Age UK Salford turned 50 in November 2023!
As one day isn’t enough to celebrate, the charity will commemorate this milestone during 2024.
They will host several celebrations in June and will round-off with a community conference in November.
The charity recently unveiled a special anniversary window mural at their head office on Church Street in Eccles featuring the faces of staff, volunteers, trustees, and service users.
They also welcome any fundraising initiatives by the local community in recognition of their anniversary and would be delighted if you would like to get involved and support them in anyway.
Maureen Jolley, Chair of the Board of Trustees said: “We want to take the opportunity of this special anniversary to shine a light on the work the charity and all it has achieved in just over 50 years and our future ambitions to continue to help people to age well.”
