“Our wedding theme was Luxurious and Classy.

Hau and Tien met at Macgregor State High School. “We were in Grade 8 in 2006 and originally became friends because we were both in the same clan (or homeroom as other schools would call it). In 2008, Tien decided to get a questionable haircut that many would’ve described back then as a ‘teeny bopper mullet’ style with a front fringe. From there, our love story began.”

“In 2019, we went on a holiday to Japan. Near the end of our trip on a gloomy day, Tien made the decision to go to Umeda Sky Building to have a look at the view. We had visited this building before on our first trip to Japan and placed an engraved love lock on one of the little fence strings at the top of the building. Whilst scrolling through my phone trying to find a photo of where the love lock was, I heard Hau say, ‘Are you ready?’ and I turned around to see Tien down on one knee asking, ‘Will you marry me?’”

“Our wedding day highlights were the first look, walking down the aisle, and the bar!”

“We spent our honeymoon at Qualia on Hamilton Island.”

“Our advice for other couples planning their wedding is to enjoy every single moment of it from the beginning to end. The wedding is to celebrate your relationship so love and enjoy each other’s company and have fun whilst planning it.
