venture has changed with the course of modernization. The city began to grow in the north direction after classic periods. Harbiye which belongs to the Armenian people is the main axis for modern Istanbul. However, this area is mentioned in every period with different usings by different groups of society. The project area, the existence of a side in the Armenian community and on another hand, a symbol of Turkey’s modernization with street axes. However,

The aims of the project are developing such an axis with all of these sounds can be there together. It was developed to think that the collective memory with a new image of location-specific can be setup.

The ground level is released and edited for integrated with area and pedestrian axis from Taksim, while it is providing access to all elevation with landscape. The whole project took shape according to the topography and orientation of the old Singing Theater. This provides flow of the Northwind. While square keep alive collective memory in place of the old Singing Theatre’s stage, square offers a new performance space for society. Previous stage find a life again as a public stage. Another important building that defines the square has been an Experimental Theather. The office and commercial units are located on the street and they are located after the square.

General View of Project
Haseki is a settlement that is established with buildings of education and health since Byzantine time. The area is used as Forum Arcadius which is on the main road “ Messe”. However, the 16th-century urban tissue has a majority in this settlement. Semi-public spaces, circulations, courtyards, architectonics and public space are formed sometimes introverted, sometimes invites visitors. Because all of these places are constituted for passing between private and public. So we can’t find any rigid concept of
“Border” in Haseki. The project located in such spatial fiction of Forum Arcadius.
On this basis, the project examined how we can provide intersection between daily-life knowledge and scientific knowledge with the reinterpretation of the 16th-century urban fabric. As a result of such a pursuit, fragmented and fluid fiction were adopted. Different volumes and square function are supplied contact with citizens. Moreover, there is no visible border and the project provides defined public places and it comprises social places with that way. In conclusion, the design creates “place” with all architectonics and social spaces next to institutive building.

Historical buildings that located on the hill are approached as a sculpture.
Slope is fixed in the top floor (+12.00) as a base under the historical buildings like city museum. On the other hand, historcial walls that are a guiding patina of space continius with design.
While the building complex is rising , it is appearing as fragmentation on the square floor. The intersection provided between faculty life and urban life. Fragmental form as consisted with courtyards provides contrast background for historical buildings.
The consisting axle which follows natural topography allow new experience in the faculty.

On the other hand, the other side of Halic, Hasköy has a strong art and recreation function with various museums and galleries. Both Ayvansaray and Hasköy were revolved around cultural production within the street axis. But combining the two neighborhoods is not the only case today in common. It constitutes both the Jewish settlement of Istanbul.

Golden Horn that old industrial area undergoes transformation. It includes the use pier. Thus it has an easy access. It is insufficient to create just structure in areas which have different uses. And also the design should allow mobility on the water. Another point is cornern of the height. Because there have a siluet and this structure sould be less than the height.
Also Haliç’s Bridges are quite famous for Istanbul. Valide Sultan Bridge was known into these. But this elegant and pedestrian using, spend time quite suitable bridges can’t reached until today. Now we have just highway bridges. But our historical bridges were people-oriented since Byzantium.
Project rests on a conceptual background beside form and function. Hasköy and Ayvansaray are most oldest Jewish neighborhood in Istanbul. So exhibition space was created about Jewish life in project. Another factor which is effective in the formation of the Haliç (Golden Horn) bridge is triangulation points and has been turning to them.

The concrete structure is supported by steel carriers overall. Particularly, the stairs, shelves and roof parts have been solved with steel and all details have been prepared. On the other hand, as it can be seen in the detail, the lighting is solved with linear slight led light. This design was illustrated by designing an elegant concrete beam. Steel beams are covered with matt glass. The concrete pavements and light effect are emphasized.
