s I put together this issue, the police confirmed they had found the body of Richard Okorogheye in a pond in Epping Forest, and my heart went out for yet another mother and family grieving the loss of a child. When you lose a child, it tears through your soul with a pain that never truly heals. Having buried two daughters, I can only say that it hurts, but someday, not any day soon, that pain changes to a scar which, when you feel it, lets you know they are always there. Blessed are those who mourn; they shall be comforted.

You will notice this issue is shorter than usual the team are having a well-earned break. As you have less to read, we hope that more of you will complete the survey so we know what you like and what you would like to see.

Butterfly Magazine Feedback Derek Chauvin’s televised trial is in full swing, and the world waits with bated breath to see if justice is not only done but is seen to be done. The Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities Report chaired by Tony Sewell, states “evidence shows that geography, family influence, socioeconomic background, culture and religion have more significant impact on life chances than the existence of racism.” Really!
