When the first people you see walking into CityFest are some of your favorite small business owners, you know it’s going to be a good event.

The wait for parking was worth it. Auburn CityFest is the city of Auburn’s biggest arts/crafts festival of the year. It was held on April 30 this year in Kiesel Park with homemade goods, live music and local, tasty eats.

I walked up to Kiesel Park and found both Market Street Paint Shop and Boonie Hat Coffee Company right away.

Not to brag, but the LIVE Lee office is right up the street from Boonie Hat, so our staff enjoys coffee from Luis Saavedra (owner) regularly.

CityFest was a chance to meet new business owners, veteran citizens of Auburn and see friends milling about the booths.

If you missed this year’s event, make sure to stop by next year!
