Otets Paisiy Street Festival

The Project OTETS PAISIY STREET started 2010 with a research work on the history and present of the street in cooperation with Plovdiv University Paisiy Hilendarski and Academy for Dance and Art in Plovdiv The festival inhabits public, private and open urban spaces alongside Otets Paisiy street which are closed for car traffic. The project aims at activating, producing and showing contemporary urban culture by organizing a program which includes open air stages with musical happenings, public space projects, projections, workshops, actions, performances, informal events, culinary art, lectures, discussions, readings. The different editions of the festival had main topics: Parallel Urban Culture, 2011; Text, 2012; Behavior, 2013
