Alma was born in Chihuahua México. She went on to study a BA at Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua. She is a psychologist with a Masters in Social Science. Her journey throughout the areas mentioned above have had a mayor influence in her artwork, her paintings seek to raise political, social and environmental awareness. Her work has been exhibited in México, USA, Spain, Italy, Nicaragua, Argentina, Chile and Russia. Founder of the International Women Collective Pintoras Mexicanas, she has coordinated more than 500 female painters to exhibit in USA, México and Europe. Co-founder of OPEN Center for the Arts. Member of The Chicago Society of Artists, the oldest continuing association of artists in the United States since 1889.

Ángel de la muerte esta inspirada en la misma muerte que llora por tantos decesos en esta época apocalíptica, sus alas cubiertas de sangre por las injusticias sobre las muertes innecesarias por parte de la policía, sus ojos lloran lagrimas de sangre por todas las victimas de Covid-19. Un corazón casi vacío de tanto dolor y sufrimiento por la humanidad.

Devin created a 30-day Quarantine Graphic Series to help cope with the pandemic while being at home. The image being exhibited was number 24 and gave me a good opportunity to work with a richer palette and integrate a bit of a visual story for this composition compared to others in the series. As an artist that dabbles in a variety of media, the COVID-19 pandemic brought him an opportunity to hone his digital art skills more seriously. He enjoyed this opportunity to channel some frustration and some fear into some new media to share. He hopes you enjoy he work.
Francisco is a sculptor/painter born in Guadalajara, who has been living in Puerto Vallarta for twenty years. He began working with wood in 1982 in a style described as Baroque, in the sense that every inch of surface is the subject of his creative interventions. He works with tropical woods and cedars, giving form and movement to his work, and playing with the refraction of light in a way that every angle of sight renders a different view of the finished pieces. Francisco has received numerous awards for his sculptural work, and has exhibited extensively in Europe, Mexico, Asia, South America, and the United States. His work is in the collections of several museums.

Nací en Monterrey Nuevo León pinto como forma de elaboración de conflictos y me resulta muy terapéutico. Mi técnica favorita es la técnica mixta, acrílico y óleo y más recientemente acuarela y lino grabado. Mi foco son los sentimientos, en especial los rostros femeninos y las causas sociales. Además soy Médica psicoanalista y tengo más de 10 poemarios en línea y uno impreso. Pretende ser una mujer valiente Pero teme por su vida, está sola y los peligros acechan en el afuera, además de la pandemia, hay un temor a lo ignoto y a la violencia. Siempre ha salido adelante, pero siente que el juego de la vida, va subiendo el nivel de complejidad y resulta más difícil lidiar con su entorno.
El arte, aunque no debería de tener un motivo, siempre ha sido reflejo del mundo, de la sociedad, siempre lo ha sido, aunque mi obra no es social, muchas veces termina siendo una reflexión o una crítica social, muchos son los motivos que me mueven, el feminismo, la igualdad social, las emociones humanas y la desmitificación de los estereotipos de belleza. Esta pieza en particular surgió de la ansiedad que estaba teniendo con la pandemia en la que estamos viviendo, una maraña de ideas y emociones siempre en mi cabeza y en mi cuerpo en general, un fondo que representa lo que me sostiene y lo que nos sostiene a todos, las personas que amamos y en el cubrebocas la esperanza de un mejor futuro, la tranquilidad que nos da la naturaleza y que debemos de valorar.
Karina Aguirre, nacida en 1978, es nativa de el Nopal, un pequeño poblado vecino de Arandas, Jalisco. Ha obtenido mención honorífica en el primer Salón pintura Arandas, en el 97, y un segundo lugar dentro de la categoría de profesionales, en el mismo salón, en 1999. Nace en la Ciudad de México, en 1970, realiza estudios en la escuela de Artesanías del INBA, tiene su primera exposición en instalaciones de clínica del Issste de la Cdmx, poco después viaja a Monterrey donde por cuatro años no produce ninguna obra ni promueve el arte, decide entonces mudarse a Celaya, Gto, donde cursa la carrera de Docencia en Artes Visuales, a través del INBA y el Sistema de Arte y Cultura de Celaya. Ejerce la carrera de docencia en el Tecnológico Nacional de México, en los campus de Nuevo León, Celaya y Gustavo A. Madero, como Promotora Cultural, Jefa del Departamento de Educación Integral y ahora como Jefa de la Oficina de Promoción Cultural. Ha realizado poco mas de 100 exposiciones y su obra a sido adquirida en países como España, y en los estados de Chiapas, Celaya, Monterrey , Cdmx y Guadalajara.

Scientist have proven that bats carry naturally several viruses without been affected.

El trabajo de Ulises Ortiz, es un proyecto que se ha gestado por más de doce años, el cual incluye una colección de más de 300 carteles con temas políticos-sociales contemporáneos, los cuales incluyen la contaminación, los derechos humanos, medio ambiente, entre otros. Su obra retoma dos aspectos, el primero que parte del artivismo político social surgido en los Estados Unidos y Europa a finales de los 60 y principios de los 70, donde a través del simbolismo y el ícono, detona la reflexión y la acción política del espectador. El segundo, retomando las características idiosincrásicas del cartel como dispositivo de comunicación visual, del cual retoma el minimalismo formal y la pertinencia sígnica para la inteligibilidad y legibilidad del mensaje. Las obras muestran otro panorama (positivo) del reciente fenómeno del virus SARS-CoV2, es decir, la disminución del agujero de la capa de ozono y también la baja de las emisiones de CO2.
