WE ARE Bio-Racer, founded by Raymond Vanstrealen in 1984, Belgium. Bio-Racer started with the development of it biomechanic bike fitting system. Ever since the day the biomechanic bike fitting system was introduced in the pro peloton, Bio-Racer has become a hot item in the world of cycling. Through the years Bio-Racer have always the same philosophy, the whole company is one big family. Each employee has a passion for cycling, for innovation and for customer satisfaction. Bio-Racer is full control over the production process, quality assured. They use always the best European materials, sustainable, comfort and YKK zippers with lock functionality. All the different styles are season proof, clothing for all seasons and disciplines. Another important dimension is to be innovative. Bio-Racer is responsible for different new technologies that have been introduced. Bio-Racer Black set the new bar in the field of innovations, to give our cyclers an advantage in safety during cycling. The collection takes that commitment to the protection of our consumers to an even higher level. We don’t should it out an make your body a screaming commercial. We care for your safety in a way you can’t see it with the naked eye. For the fall safety Bio-Racer Black used Dyneema®, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene. Dyneema® is extremely strong and durable, yet lightweight. It is flexible and a cool touch to the skin. This is the ideal combination for applications such as high protective cycling wear. Bio-Racer Black can protect cyclists with Dyneema® fiber from the cuts and scraps sustained during crashes at race speeds. We protect with no compromise on comfort and design. For the visibilty of the cyclers had Bio-Racer Black used reflective strips, micro glass beads. The fabric backing of the strips are perfect for apparel industry. The reflective strips are available in all different colors of the collection. That means that the strips are invisible, and can be processed behind the flatlock seams. High reflectivity result on dark days. Visible safety with no compromise on comfort and design.

It’s still dark outside. It might be wet or windy. It is definitely cold. Your bed is warm. For any normal person, there is no decision to be made, just a flicker of consciousness before turning over, pulling up the covers and sinking back into luxurious slumber. But you are no normal person. You are a cyclist. Cyclists are covert operatives, undercover athletes. Our plans are semi-secret; our rendezvous with other riders in the pale dawn are in obscure locations, unfrequented byways. We keep such odd hours that we are near-nocturnal. Riding out through the suburbs before daybreak, we are as likely to encounter a fox in the road as a car. The fox regards you with bold curiosity, recognising you perhaps as some kind of renegade relative, a slightly deranged distant cousin. The cold creeps up on you. At first, it hits you only in the face, like an application of witch-hazel, tautening your skin with its sudden astringency. The rest of you, body and limbs and extremities, are so bundled up and wrapped in layers of form-fitting fabric, that it becomes almost impossible to summon up the sensation of cycling in summer: what it feels like to ride in shorts and short-sleeved jersey demands a conceptual leap beyond what the mind is capable of on a dark winter’s day.
