Bodegas Valdubón

Founded in 1997, Bodegas Valdubón is located near the town of Milagros in the Ribera del Duero region. The winery oversees 155 hectares of Tinta del País, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vines that thrive on the banks of the Douro River in the northern plateau of the Iberian Peninsula. Winemaker Gloria Diaz believes that great wine begins in the vineyard with careful pruning and continuous adjustment. This dedication carries over to the winery where a commitment to ageing in highquality barrels allows for the wine to gain structure and flavour.

Valdubón Diez is the vision of a group of ten individuals representing facets across the wine industry: winemaking, journalism, retail and fine dining. Their goal was to create a blend that displayed depth of flavour, judicious oak and well-structured but approachable tannin. In its 12th incarnation, this special wine is a blend of 75% 2018 and 15% 2019 vintages. It offers a deep ruby hue with spicy, cherry and herbal aromas.
