Generations of Italian Know-how

The Veneto region in northeast Italy stretches from Lake Garda eastwards to cover DOCs such as Bardolino, Valpolicella and Soave. Red wines are generally light in style and low in tannins, matching perfectly with light meat dishes. The grand exception is Amarone, made from grapes left to dry and concentrate before fermentation, producing high-alcohol wines rich in flavour and complexity.
