At Impress we provide metal packaging solutions for consumer goods which are part of everyday life and used by people of all ages. From baby food to soups, from paints to hairspray and from tuna to cappuccino, we play a key role in differentiating our customers’ products and bringing value to the consumer. As an international company we design, make and sell metal cans in steel and aluminium, in a wide variety of shapes and sizes: round, rectangular, shaped, straight sided or conical, printed and unprinted. Specialities Division The Specialities Division supplies cans and components to the Aerosols, Paints & Coatings and Dairy & Custom markets.

European no. 1 in cans for Paints and Coatings market Impress is Europeâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s leading manufacturer of metal packaging to the paints and coatings market. The strength and rigidity of metal makes it the material of choice for these products which require safety and robustness in handling, filling, distribution as well as for use in the home. Impress supplies mainly printed cans to the major brands across Europe in paints, coatings and varnishes, both for do-it-yourself and professional use. Our 8 locations in Europe provide a wide variety of products to serve the different market needs, including round, rectangular and shaped cans, pails for bulk packs, and a special range of containers approved to UN standards.

Impress Pielkenrood Zaandijk Since 1894 is Zaandijk specialized in the production of 3 product types, namely Open Top pails, Tight Head drums and Tulip cans. The content of these cans varies from 11 to 28 liters and are mainly used for the packaging of paint-, chemical- and oil products that are used in the shipbuilding and construction industry. We supply this high quality packaging throughout Europe and the products correspond to the specifications of our customers: plain or decorated, internal plain or coated, with UN approval or RID/ADR. Impress Pielkenrood Zaandijk has a large range of modern equipment that delivers an efficient production process with enough flexibility to realize specific customer demands. With our production process we can easily react to market trends, both in terms of volume and product configuration. Product innovation continues to be the key driver within Impress in the coming years. For example the use of thinner material and the change from internal coatings to laminated material. This will help us to continue to bring the best service & technical performance to our customers.
