HISTORY

We create Beauty from Science since 70 years ALBANEVOSA, historical trade mark of the Italian cosmetic industry, in 2009 celebrated the first 70 years of activity. In fact, it was established in 1939, thanks to the intense passion for medical herbs, chemistry and nature of its founder, who devoted his whole life and knowledge to the study of cosmetics. Thanks to his fervent mind and intuitive ability, he significantly and substantially contributed to the creation of new concepts of care and well-being for the skin, generating the evolutive process within his company that, from the post-war period until now, renewed the meaning of beauty and health. 1945: ALBANEVOSA takes the first steps in the cosmetics world, producing hand and face creams, powders, lipsticks and what were once called “blushers”, interpreting and anticipating the new idea of female charm and grace. Acclaimed national fame was reached in 1945 for a hand and face cream called ALBANEVOSA, which determined the choice of the company’s trande mark. 1948-1949: they start to use the Gelation method for oils, and create original cosmetic products formulated with plants, fruits and royal jelly extracts. 1960-1970: ALBANEVOSA applies the brand-new concept of skin PH to its products, creating the first Complete Line of Face and Body Treatments, dedicated to the Professional field. ’80: these years mark the history of ALBANEVOSA by the introduction in its professional range of Natural Essential Oils, perfectly mixed to create synergic actions whose results would be appreciated and desired by an increasing number of beauticians. ‘90: Scientific studies put more and more attention upon the functions and importance of skin, stimulating the creation, within ALBANEVOSA, laboratories, of cosmetics with light and vanishing textures, and with innovative formulations, more effective and safe. In 2008 the ALBANEVOSA trade mark was taken over by a new Company, Albanevosa Cosmetici Srl, guided by a group of young Managers who have been able to relaunch the productive and commercial activities, facing the future with a clear management and marketing strategy and an highly innovative products range of high quality. Our way is to create unique beauty products, taking from the ancient knowledge and the most recent discoverings of science, with passion, love and devotion.

Tradition and Innovation We are a company that was established, grew and continues to grow with a clear philosophy: loyalty to tradition, conceived as constant path of development of unique products, able to validly satisfy the market needs, placing strong attention upon the Environment and our customers health. This distinguishes us not only for the ability to innovate and anticipate trends for the products quality and efficacy, but also for our social responsibility. The most part of our products contain raw materials and active ingredients of natural origin, mainly extracted in Italy and France from well-selected suppliers and through a wellestablished technical and commercial relation. Conscious of our vanguard position in the professional cosmetics field, we invest our resources to always be ahead concerning the products developed and the services offered. However, this does not mean to frantically seek the latest news or vogue, but to be able to choose really useful and effective ideas and to translate them in tangible and measurable results. The choices which we have made in this sense make us the ideal reference for Professionals that need a high competence and quality in the Personal Care world, and that require a complete vision of the relation with their customers, which would overcome the purely technical and operative aspects, considering also the communicative and personal ones. PROFESSIONAL COSMETICS ALBANEVOSA represents a well-established and innovative international reality in the field of specialized cosmetics for Aesthetic Institutes and Wellness Centers. Thanks to more than half a century of “know-how” and experiences in this professional field, ALBANEVOSA creates, inside its laboratories, its own cosmetic lines with high technical-scientific content, reinterpreting the idea of psychophysical well-being usually called “Total Care”, conceived as the attainment of a balanced and gratifying way of life. ALBANEVOSA addresses Professionals who totally care for individuals, emphasizing the very essence of our treatments through wise gestures.


R&D

Research and Development ALBANEVOSA puts much attention upon the technical and scientific technologies to be used for the improvement of our products, the creation of new ones and the improvement of production processes. The constant activity of Research and Development, entrusted to the qualified staff of ALBANEVOSA technicians, has brought the creation of several successful formulas, and 10 of these are protected by international patent. The technical-scientific area of ALBANEVOSA is a very creative laboratory, able to create unique and exclusive formulations which use functional active ingredients of natural origin, with remarkable anti aging potential.

Protection of cellular DNA, stimulation of skin repairing processes, defence of skin youthfulness are some of our important goals, that we want to achieve respecting the environment and the most sensitive and delicate skin structures. The choice of ingredients of our products is made after a careful evaluation of extraction and processing methods, preferring the active ingredients with an high skin affinity.

An essential part of the work performed by the Research&Development department is the verification of ALBANEVOSA cosmetics efficacy and tolerability. Our technicians actively cooperate with the most accredited referential laboratories, performing “in vivo” and “in vitro” test over active ingredients and final products, in order to grant the highest functionality of ALBANEVOSA formulations.

Customer Relationship Management ALBANEVOSA is conscious of the importance to offer customer service which would reflect the same excellent level of its products; we are convinced that in order to attain a high level of customer service it is necessary to fully understand the Customers needs, before trying to satisfy them. In our Company there are the right people who give the right answers, devoting time and attention to collect suggestions and impressions everytime it is possible.

TRAINING

Albanevosa Cosmetic Method For our part, technical seminars are a fundamental occasion for exchange and growth, which give us the opportunity to establish a direct and privileged contact with our Customers. We have created a highly specialized training course, which includes various levels of learning for our Cosmetic Method and Workshops of professional updates, characterized by a high scientific and technical/management content, entrusted to the most valued experts in Cosmetics, Aesthetic Medicine, Dermatology, Relational and Communication Psychology, Marketing, with the intention to help each Beauty Center, increasingly in contact with informed and demanding customers, to confirm its own professional value, in which we believe for more than 70 years.

Its main office and productions are located in Bolzano Vicentino (Vicenza), at about 60 Km from Venice and 200 Km from Milan. All products are produced using raw materials and ingredients of first quality, mainly made in Italy and France.

ALBANEVOSA today sells 65% of its production in Italy, through a commercial network of more than 20 agents, serving about 600 customers over the entire national territory.

The other 35% of its production is sold in 20 foreign countries, through suppliers and commercial partners. In 2008 ALBANEVOSA opened its first foreign Commercial Office in Shanghai.

PRODUCTIVE LOGISTICS ALBANEVOSA is one of the few Italian companies in this field which have a completely internal production, with its own patented knowhow and formulations; 100% of ALBANEVOSA cosmetic production is manufactured and checked in the Bolzano Vicentino plant, without using third parties, and with its 6 completely automated lines of production it has a productive capacity of 22,000 jars-tubes per day. The single phases of our products manufacturing cycle are rigorously and systematically checked, performing tests of quality control, in order to grant value and safety of the ALBANEVOSA trade mark. Flexibility and adaptation ability are our unique characteristics and to properly and rapidly face the new and continuous challenges of this market, so hard and competitive, we want to bring the “just in time� operative method to cosmetics field, i.e. to produce with high rapidity after the order arrival.
