The Challenge of Diabetes in Ireland
sharing successful strategies
Colin Kenny,
GP, and Editor of Diabetes and Primary care
Diabetes is an urgent and growing problem in Ireland. This third conference of the Primary Care Diabetes Society (PCDS) will examine diabetes care from an Irish perspective. Organised by the PCDS – the only association solely committed to the needs of primary care diabetes – this event will use state-of-the-art lectures and clinical updates to provide practical guidance to healthcare professionals for confronting present and future therapeutic issues that impact directly on everyday practice in Ireland. We aim for an all-Ireland perspective and this conference provides us all with an opportunity to discuss the key issues that affect us and our patients with diabetes on a day-to-day basis. We very much look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to this important and influential event.
Nigel Campbell, GP and Northern Ireland Representative on the PCDS
