WHAT’S NEXT? WHY DUBAI? There is a need to provide an accessible, effective and integrated healthcare system in the Middle East based on the principles of best practice. To this end, Wounds International aims to facilitate wound care education within the region to maintain and improve the quality of wound care provision for the benefit of patients.
The Wounds International conference model is different, inclusive and provides a sustained educational legacy for those orking in the region. Please join us in 2013 to continue our ambitious goal of increasing wound care knowledge, helping you to build new markets through education, research and clinical practice and developing a dynamic, efficient and innovative healthcare sector.
CREATING A LASTING LEGACY FOR WOUND CARE CLINICIANS In 2011, the first Wounds International conference in Cape Town, South Africa brought together a significant number of international and local clinicians, for what proved to be a hugely interactive and rewarding three days of wound care best practice, shared by clinicians from around the world.
The event included a free grassroots programme for over 200 local nurses and left a lasting legacy of improved education and training. Our contact with the local wound care groups in Southern Africa continues, as does our information and education sharing.
