baalcreations was founded in 2005 as a company creating original furniture. With time, it evolved into a design studio executing elements for interior projects, as well as innovating material blends and luxurious surfaces. In parallel, baalcreations introduced two new brands:
Ounovis, specializing in decorative accessories and luxurious gifts.
OPUS MAGNUM GALLERY, designing limited edition contemporary furniture, one-o, bespoke pieces, and large scale artworks.

GILBERT DEBS
A French-Lebanese interior designer, Claudia was born in an artistic environment. Inuenced by her parents who were both passionate painters and sculptors, she absorbed the entire basis that would server her through her artistic career.
Gilbert, like most of his work, is a blend between art, alchemy, and philosophy. Predestined since the 80's to follow the family business in industry, where he worked for 20 years in research and development, he began experimenting with materials. Jumping from one discovery to another, he invented a new way to combine materials with dierent properties, thus challenging their ordinary way to react. With this ultimate innovation, he created new textures, expanding his horizons where imagination reaches no limits.
With a variety of interests and talents, she opened the gateway between art, design, and architecture. Her diverse background ranges from designing residential interiors, to painting and lately creating her own line of jewellery. Guided by her vivid imagination, she combines her work with the soul and poetry of the Orient, and the rigor and elegance of the Occident. Her designs are based on her daily sensibility, love for nature, history, culture, and what she calls unconscious inspiration. Her encounter with Gilbert Debs pushed her to discover new combinations of materials. This improved the richness of her design pallet which she expresses through OPUS MAGNUM GALLERY creations. Today, Claudia introduces a new artistic and contemporary vision towards furniture design. Where she unmistakably puts craftsmanship right at the heart of insightful contemporary furniture and art pieces with poise and euphoria.
Since founding baalcreations, Gilbert is devoting his time to creating artistic panels and artworks, innovating unseen blends of materials from metals, stone, marble to wood, glass, sand and many others. His creative surfaces are becoming an added value to contemporary furniture and to prestigious interiors projects. His success is not only based on his talent but also on his passionate character making leading designers and architects strive to work with him. From artistic surfaces to abstract artworks and panels, Gilbert is able to envision and execute uncommon pieces of art.

As a brand, Ounovis was created to satisfy a growing demand for luxury gifts and decorative items. The range of newly available materials, supported by continuous eorts in R&D, has freed the passion of the designer to conceive customised products and deďŹ ne unusual decorative concepts. It comes as no surprise that all our pieces are passionately handmade in our atelier, and individually lavished with care and craftsmanship.
No sooner it was launched, than baalcreations found itself involved in projects where the inspiration of the location guided the design concept. A concept consolidated by a wide range of unseen materials and crafted surfaces exclusively developed by the company in order to widen its design horizons. The company has since contributed in the execution of luxurious projects worldwide, oering the highest quality interior products for use in hotels, restaurants, palaces, homes and many other places.
Surfaces The baalcreations studio has created an array of unusual mixes in 2D or 3D shapes. The techniques we use to manufacture and apply metals and other materials are the hallmark of baalcreations. Our surfaces are more considered as artwork rather than a regular covering material. All our surfaces are made by hand. Veins, marks, cracks, scratches, oxidations and patina are all intentionally carried out and never repeated. This artistic process creates imperfections that are part of our style. They reveal the uniqueness of each project by transforming it into a work of art.
