Do you want to carry out home improvements?
Do you want to help family get on the property ladder?
Do you need to repay your existing mortgage?
Over 55, struggling for cash, and own your own home? The easy solution, according to the adverts at least, is to do an equity release, but it's not as straight forward as it seems.
Equity release is a way of spending your home's value whilst still living there. It's done via a loan usually repaid from your home's value once you die.
We at Broom Consultants Ltd can help you review all of your options.
If you decide releasing equity is right for you, a member or our Equity Release team will explain how it works and will answer all your questions.
You should think carefully before securing other debts against your home. Your home or property may be repossessed if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of an equity release plan.

Visitors can navigate the route using the Herd In The City app, available from the App Store and Google Play from the start of July, and collect rewards along the way. A map will also be available, which can be purchased from the Havens Hospices Charity Shops in Southend-on-Sea, Prittlewell, Leigh-onSea and Shoeburyness.
A great day out
At the end of the trail, the elephants will be sold at auction, raising money for Havens Hospices.
Lauren Eagle-Allen, Senior Projects Officer for Havens Hospices, said: “We are so proud to bring our parade of elephants to nestle amongst Southend-on-Sea’s iconic attractions, bringing colour and fun to the city.
