A Royal Affair!
To celebrate the Queens Jubilee, La Petite Petanque are trooping the menu and will be showcasing royal favourites over the bank holiday weekend. Pork & black pudding scotch egg with homemade piccalilli or Coronation chicken breast served with new potatoes, amongst others, to tempt you on the savoury side, Royal Afternoon Tea with specials such as amaretto trifle fruit compote to entice you on the sweet side.

Our pastry chef will be baking a whole host of Jubilee themed cakes, cupcakes and biscuits which are the perfect accompaniment to coffee or tea. We will also have live music adding to the celebrations marking this wonderful historic event. Staying within the traditional British theme – the chefs have created a Wimbledon themed afternoon tea. The restaurant will be also be served jugs of Pimms, strawberry cream teas alongside the afternoon tea throughout the Championships.

With the weather moving into warmer climes and summer puts on her colourful gown, our outside terrace is re open! The elegantly styled Art Deco property that houses the restaurant sits on the edge of the bowling green, a tranquil setting to take time out to enjoy breakfast, lunch or a delightful afternoon tea. The bowls club has matches in play which adds to the serenity and quintessential English essence of the place.
