Cushion Mounting Tapes
ORAFLEX® Cushion Mounting Tapes are made with modern pressure-sensitive acrylate adhesives and based on the latest product designs. The specially developed adhesives offer different levels of adhesion and suitability for repositioning. ORAFLEX® Cushion Mounting Tapes are highly resistant to the solvents used in the flexographic printing industry.
Product description
Double-sided soft foam adhesive tape 380 µm thick with pressure-sensitive acrylate adhesives of various adhesion strengths. Specially designed for mounting thin photopolymer clichés up to 1.7 mm thick on metal cylinders and plastic sleeves in prepress and packaging printing in the “wide web” process.
Technical data
• Uncoated thickness*: approx. 0.43 mm
• Coating: embossed siliconized PP film, 110 µm, white
• Adhesive coated side: acrylate
• Backing: soft PE foam, red Orafol logo on the cliché side
• Open side adhesive: acrylate, higher adhesive strength
