Our Manufacturing Connections Pinehurst Group Inc. Since 1968, Pinehurst has been a manufacturer of custom store fixtures for clients throughout North America and around the globe. The company’s focus is on providing architectural millwork and store fixtures for luxury retailers including Burberry, Dior, Chanel, Estee Lauder, and many more. Pinehurst began operating its fabrication facility in Orangeville in February 2011, when the company took over a 160,000 square foot building in the Town’s industrial area. Somewhat unique among its competitors, Pinehurst has comprehensive in-house production capabilities including a metal shop, cabinetry departments, glass fabrication, and finishing departments. This allows for better control of projects, improved quality, and faster timelines from start to finish. Pinehurst employs approximately 160 full-time staff, with the majority being skilled workers. The availability of a qualified workforce along with a centralized location helped to attract the business to Orangeville and these qualities have helped to ensure Pinehurst’s ongoing success. Relocating manufacturing operations to Orangeville has allowed Pinehurst products to reach local and global markets more efficiently. “Our move to Orangeville has had a very positive impact on our business,” says Grant Brewster, Vice President of Pinehurst Group Inc. “We have convenient access to our major suppliers, there is a significant talent base within the community from which we can draw, and overall costs help us compete in a global economy.”
