Co-Load Maldives was founded in 1986 by Abbas Mohamed, who now serves as the Company’s Managing Director. The Company’s trade division, consisting of Color Bank and Ace Maldives, offers internationally acclaimed brands in its product portfolio. Color Bank is the sole and authorized distributor of prestigious paint brands in Maldives such as Crown Paints, AkzoNobel, Jotun, and Sikkens, all of which are retailed from its 3 outlets. In 2011 Co-Load opened the first Ace Hardware store in the Maldives, the first of its kind in the SAARC region. Ace Hardware is the world’s largest home improvement franchise with over 5,500 stores operating in approximately 70 countries. In 2022 Co-Load opened the third and flagship Ace Hardware store, Ace Home Centre.

PRODUCTS & SERVICES:

Co-Load Maldives offers a wide range of product lines including housewares, gifts, paints & sundries (decorative, automotive, marine, woodcare, aerospace and specialty paints), home appliances, commercial and household cleaning products, power tools and hand tools, hardware, gardening & lawn supplies, electrical supplies, sporting goods, toys, stationery and office equipment, candy and foodstuffs in addition to others. The Company, also through its subsidiary CoLoad Developments provides real-estate development and through Maldives Business School provides College education from Foundation to Master’s levels.
