Ensis is the largest seafood exporter from Maldives, currently holding over 50% export market share to EU, with retail customers including large international supermarket chains. Founded in 2002, we come from the artisanal fishery communities of Maldives promoting 100% sustainability imbued with the traditional one-by-one pole-and-line fisheries, passed on to us by our forefathers. . We are FOS Wild, CoC certified and our fish processing plant is the first BRC AA rated in Maldives. We are also ISO 22000 and EMS certified, with a state-ofthe-art cannery in Hulhumale’. With the largest fisheries product base in the Maldives, ENSIS has a diversified export ready product range of seafood, covering fresh, frozen, canned, and pouched segments, including Handline caught Yellowfin and Pole & Line caught MSC Skipjack Tuna. ENSIS produces premium quality fish, from Sashimi grade Saku Blocks to Tuna Loins and Chunks, Tuna steaks, Whole Round Tunas, Canned and Pouch MSC Tunas and more - all sourced, processed and packed directly in the Maldives.
