Islanders Education (IE), was the first private company to open an international school in the capital city of Maldives, Male’. Over a short period of time, IE grew to become one of the largest private educators in the country with 12 international schools in 9 islands across the Maldives. Today, IE runs multiple educational institutions offering programs for K-12, higher education and digital education. IE is the principal sponsor and founding member of ‘Foundation for a Better Future’, who focuses on providing quality education to underprivileged and differently abled children. IE celebrates the holistic vision of education to be the single greatest enabler of social and economic growth in the nation.

PRODUCTS & SERVICES:

IE’s mainstream K-12 schools include Finland International School Maldives, Billabong High International School, Kangaroo Kids International Preschool, Ameer Ahmed Community Preschool and Iqra International Preschools. IE also runs various educational initiatives, which include teacher training programs by Islanders Institute of Applied Sciences, English competency courses in collaboration with British Council. IE owns and developed Hologo – a digital resource app for education, Teaching Tube - an online teaching solution for Secondary, EduSpark- an online professional development platform for teachers.
