The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain has become a global sensation and their new show, charts the Uke’s rise from curiosity to virtuosity, from village hall to the Royal Albert Hall. Not only this but given the time of year the Ukes are adding a little festive frivolity to the show. This is a little midwinter mischief and a chance for the audience to play or sing-a-long to the odd Christmas number. Watch the tutorials online at ukuleleorchestra.com, learn the parts and join in live. TICKETS £26.00, £28.00 PREMIERE CARD £5.00 off GROUPS 10+ £5.00 off

‘Millions of young readers have fallen under the spell of Jill Murphy’s Worst Witch’ Sunday Express

A new story based on Jill Murphy’s original books WED 27 FEB – SUN 3 MARCH Long before Harry Potter there was Mildred Hubble. An ordinary girl who found herself in an extraordinary place: a school for witches. Now in her final year, accident prone Mildred and her fellow pupils are about to embark on their biggest and most important adventure yet… Jealous Ethel Hallow is always out to spoil Mildred’s fun. Miss Hardbroom is opposed to all fun in general. And just as Mildred sparks some inevitable mayhem certain to upset them both, an old enemy returns with a plan for revenge that could threaten not just the Academy, but the whole world. Jill Murphy’s The Worst Witch stories have sold more than five million copies worldwide and been made into numerous films and TV series. The most recent and successful of which is written by playwright Emma Reeves, who now brings these stories to life on stage in a major new play touring the UK direct from a Royal & Derngate Northampton Christmas season. Featuring all of Jill Murphy’s beloved characters, this thrilling new stage adaptation is directed by Theresa Heskins and includes original songs, music, magic and a dose of Mildred’s unique brand of utter pandemonium!

MON 1 – SAT 6 APRIL Jodie Prenger leads the cast in a brand-new production of this ground-breaking comedy classic! Beverly and husband Laurence are throwing a party for their newlywed neighbours, Tony and Angela. Joining them is highly strung Susan who’s been banished from the party of her teenage daughter Abigail. Welcome to 1970s suburbia and its heady mix of free-flowing cocktails, classic disco and cheese and pineapple sticks. As tensions rise and tempers flare the sheen of respectability is torn away by the warring couples with hilarious and potentially disastrous consequences. Mike Leigh’s iconic Abigail’s Party is one of Britain’s most celebrated comedies; beloved by audiences, it thrills and delights in equal measure. It’s not to be missed. Where applicable, fees and charges are included in the stated ticket prices. An optional postage fee may apply.
