Meet Our Executive Chef Joe Alvis A graduate of Johnson & Wales of Charleston. Our Chef has nearly a quarter of a century in our kitchen. Married to his lovely wife Sharon, and has 2 children, Trevor and Madison. Our Chef’s favorite ingredient is Fresh Fish. “We have a great fish monger who can get fresh fish from anywhere, the next day. You can do so much with fish. I like to introduce our community to cool, interesting fish that you might not see on many menus around.” Our Chef loves to use Seasonal Local Ingredients. For him, “Nothing makes a dish better then using fresh local ingredients picked and used at it’s peak.”

Spring Beers on Tap! 330 Summit IPA Thirsty Dog

is made as an India Pale Ale using the Summit hop as the only flavor and aroma hop used, and boy can you notice it! There is a big hop bitterness with a huge (and typical) American hop flavor and aroma described as citrusy, grapefruit-like, earthy. This in your face IPA is sure to please those hop heads out there. IBU: 70 ABV: 6.5%

Blue Point Long Island Spring Fling

This copper ale is our way of saying “hello” to spring. It boasts the perfect balance between the malty flavors of German barley and the zesty spice of American hop, resulting in a crisp and refreshing brew with hints of nuts and honey. It’s the best cure for your spring fever. ABV: 5.2% IBU: 36

Great Lakes Chillwave Double IPA

Inspired by the North Coast’s dedicated (and sometimes chilly) surf community, our Double IPA will melt the ice in your beard and never lose its balance. Earthy, tropical Mosaic hops ride front side here, followed by a deft cutback of sweet honey malt. IBU:80 ABV: 9.0%

Stella Artrois - Pale lager ABV 5.2%

Story Driven Cult Wines Papa Joe’s Since 1990

“We build personal relationships & cellars” 2013 el Coco Blend Composition

Rich aromatics of dark stone fruits and soft French oak mingle together to frame a very sophisticated entry with more than ample weight. The bright mid-palate is replete with waves of concentration. High tones of ripe cherries and cassis come together and coat he mouth in richness. The finish is broad and expansive and lingers elegantly for over half a minute.

2012 G.B. Crane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Soft hints of toasted French oak dominate the hugely aromatic entry and provide ample support to the generous array of fruit that provide the start to this wine. An immense mid-palate explodes with a cacophony of dense dark chocolate and ripe bing cherries. The oak found on the entry lingers and frames an almost endless finish replete with a full complement of flavors and ripe tannins.

April Features: Jamón Serrano Ham

To be featured in Our version of a “Carbonara” Jamón Serrano Ham Spain’s answer to Italy’s Prosciutto de Parma. It is a dry cured ham considered by some as the best ham in the world!
