All the Sage Savories menu items can be heated in the microwave, regular oven or toaster oven. Although the containers are metal, they are microwaveable using these instructions. Due to different types of heating equipment, the following instructions are guidelines and may need to be adjusted for your particular situation. Tips from our customer and recycling information - Pull frozen meal(s) from freezer the day before and place them directly in the fridge to thaw overnight. Heating time will be cut in half. - Always thaw meal(s) in fridge and use within 48 hrs. of removing from freezer. - Enjoy a night with no dishes and eat from the foil container or for that home cooked look, place meal on your own china. - Recycle your containers – All the foil containers are recyclable. Just rinse and put them in your regular recycling. Soup Heating Instructions The soups can be heated in the microwave, regular oven, toaster oven or stovetop. Microwave Heating – Only heat one soup at a time. From freezer, remove and discard cardboard top by lifting the foil edge completely leaving edges up. Place in center of microwave, with a microwave safe plastic cover over container making sure the container does not touch the sides of the oven. Heat on high heat for 3 minutes, give soup a stir and return to microwave. Heat for 3 – 5 minutes more, until the proper temperature is achieved. Oven or Toaster Oven Heating - Preheat oven to 400F. From freezer, remove cardboard top from container. Place a sheet of foil over container. Place in center of oven and heat for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and give soup a stir. Replace foil and return to oven. Cook for 10 – 20 minutes more, until proper temperature is achieved. Stove Top Heating - From freezer, remove cardboard top from container, pop soup out of container and place in a small saucepan. Heat on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Heat until proper temperature is achieved.

Put vegetables back into container; replace cover and heat for 3 – 4 more minutes until the meal is the proper temperature. Do not over cook. Meal just needs to be warmed.
