DR. TOM WALLACE’S 90TH BIRTHDAY FUNDRAISER NETS MORE THAN $90,000 IN CLINIC SUPPORT

On behalf of the entire Order of Malta Clinic team, we thank the many supporters who contributed to our Celebrating 90 campaign, benefitting the Clinic’s telehealth operations, and held in honor of volunteer physician Dr. Tom Wallace, KM and his steadfast commitment to faith, care and service. For his 90th birthday, Dr. Wallace requested one gift from our donor community: $90,000 in generous support for the Clinic and the vulnerable patient population we serve. We launched a campaign to fulfill that request and exceeded our fundraising goal! Because of you, we can provide more patients with even greater access to care.

ABOUT DR. WALLACE

Since joining our team in 2014, Dr. Wallace has served as a leader and steward for the Clinic, treating more than 1,000 patients and volunteering countless hours to care for the uninsured and underserved members of our community. In 2020, he was recognized as a Threads of Hope Award Winner by Diablo magazine for his work in the community. Even as the COVID-19 pandemic surged, Dr. Wallace continued to spend his days delivering care to individuals most in need.
