❶ SAKÉONE, Oregon’s premier craft saké brewery, offers tours of its brewing facility where small groups can explore the art of saké-making, finishing with tastings of their unique, small-batch creations.
❷ HOFFMAN FARMS is a u-pick farm where groups can gather fresh strawberries, blueberries and raspberries straight from the fields and enjoy the farm’s welcoming atmosphere and picturesque countryside views. Pick berries during berry season (June-August) or enjoy the pumpkin harvest season (late-September-October). Individually-sized home-made fresh pies are available to go!
❸ SMITH BERRY BARN welcomes groups of up to 50 people for guided tours and seasonal farm activities. The farm grows dozens of varieties of berries and more than 20 varieties of apples. Wander through vibrant fields and enjoy U-pick experiences during berry season (June-August) and apple and pear season (August-November) and feed the friendly goats, all while soaking in the charming, pastoral beauty.
❹ SOUTH STORE CAFE is across the street from Smith Berry Barn and offers delicious boxed lunches and sweet and savory treats to take to go. (Closed Mondays)
❺ 19 ACRES CIDER CO produces hard cider made with apples grown from its family-owned orchard just a few miles from the tasting room. Enjoy flights and bites from the tasting room or on the outside patio, which offer idyllic countryside views.
❻ PONZI VINEYARDS is one of the oldest estate wineries in the Willamette Valley–now owned by prestigious French champagne producer Bollinger. Groups enjoy tours of its state-of-the-art winemaking facility, tasting flights and/or a curated meal created by Ponzi’s in-house chef in the intimate inside and outside spaces, and games of bocce ball.
❼ EAGLES NEST RESERVE WINERY invites groups to its renovated and cozy timber frame barn–constructed nearly 30 years ago to house its alpaca herd–for wine tastings and group events, such as catered picnics to farm-to-table gourmet meals. The head winemaker or viticulturalist can host tours of the vineyard, speak about the property and area history, and/or offer tastings
