MEET THE HEAD OF COLLEGE NICK MAGNUS MBE

At the beginning of last year, Dulwich College (Singapore) proudly celebrated its 10th anniversary. In just one decade we have risen to become one of the leading international schools on the island. Grounded in the traditions of a British independent school ethos, we draw strength and inspiration from the 400-year legacy of our founding school in London.

As part of the Dulwich College International family, our school blends a global perspective with a modern approach that honours the diverse backgrounds of our students. Our vision is clear. We nurture students who Live Worldwise: 21st-century global citizens equipped with the knowledge, skills and passion to shape a better future for society and the planet.

This commitment is reflected in our investment in exceptional teachers, robust professional development for our staff, and the creation of a vibrant, dynamic learning environment. Our state-of-the-art campus, combined with a curriculum rich in academics, sports, performing arts and music, ensures that every student thrives, ready to make a meaningful difference in the world.

TESTIMONIALS

MELINDA MANZI, PARENT

As parents of two children in Year 13 and Year 10, we can confidently say that our eight years at Dulwich College (Singapore) have been nothing short of exceptional. The saying that you cannot choose your family does not apply here; Dulwich truly feels like an extension of our family.

One of the aspects we love is the long-lasting friendships our children have formed with peers from all around the world. The school's emphasis on diversity and inclusivity has created an environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.

Dulwich offers a rich array of opportunities for our children to explore their passions, whether in sports, art, drama, or community service They have been encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, which has helped them grow immensely

What truly makes a difference at Dulwich is the genuine connection between students and teachers The staff know our children authentically and are deeply invested in their growth and well-being It is heartwarming to hear teachers say, “Oh, you are Manzi's mum (there are too many boys with the same name, so our family name becomes his first) or Lily’s mum!”

We are grateful for the lifelong experiences and memories Dulwich College (Singapore) has provided our family. It has been and continues to be a fantastic journey, and we look forward to what the future holds for our children as they continue to thrive at school and beyond.

ELLIE R, STUDENT

I have been attending Dulwich since 2016 and my journey so far has been exciting, nurturing and dynamic. The school has provided me with a plethora of incredible opportunities that encouraged me to explore outside of academics. For example, due to the wider international school campuses and the Dulwich network of schools across the globe, I have luckily been able to travel overseas for sports tournaments, allowing me to explore different cultures and countries.

Because Dulwich provides a wide range of subject choices, I was able to explore different aspects of education, helping me better understand my passions and the direction of my future studies. Similarly, the inclusion of Mandarin in the school curriculum has allowed me to develop from a Year Three student with no knowledge of the subject to a student who completed her Mandarin GCSE; this linguistic journey pushed me out of my comfort zone and provided me with a closer connection to the local community.

Surrounded by a network of encouraging teachers, I have thrived academically because of their excellent teaching and their support in overcoming barriers to learning. The teachers have cultivated an environment where I feel secure due to close, individual connections which makes me feel acknowledged and an important part of the school community.

IB & MATRICULATION RESULTS

We are delighted to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our most recent graduating cohort of the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and Career Programme (IBCP) for the 2023-24 academic year. Our students excelled, with an average IBDP score of 37.6 surpassing the global average by seven points. Notably, 36.1% of students achieved 40 points or more, with 17 earning bilingual diplomas. The highest individual score was 44 out of 45.

Our first IBCP cohort also impressed, with both students achieving Distinctions in their Level 3 Extended Diplomas from the University of the Arts London, equivalent to 4 A* at A-Level. These results reflect the rigorous academic and real-world experiences gained through the IBCP.

Among our graduates, 91% were accepted into their first-choice universities, with 100% securing spots at their top two choices. Popular destinations include the UK, US, Canada, and Australia. Five students will attend Oxford or Cambridge, and 15 were accepted into London’s “Big Four” universities.

We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful to the families who supported them. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors and look forward to hearing about their continued success!

We are delighted to welcome Sarah Conrad to the College as our new Head of Dulwich College (Singapore) Kindergarten (DUCKS).

With 32 years of experience as a primary school teacher and 16 years as a Headteacher in the British independent school sector, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the role. She is also an inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) and recently served as the Director of Prep Education for the Effingham Schools Trust

Sarah has a deep love for early years education and is dedicated to helping children unlock their full potential both academically and socially. Having also worked in Germany and Switzerland, she believes in being internationally minded and appreciates the importance of learning languages at a young age. The College vision to ‘Live Worldwise’ is one that she is passionate about.

We invite you to meet Sarah at one of our upcoming Open Houses at Dulwich College (Singapore).

MEET THE PRINCIPAL PAUL FRIEND

Dear Prospective Parents and Students,

The NLCS (Singapore) story began over 160 years ago, when educational pioneer Frances Mary Buss first opened NLCS in London. Ever since that day, the NLCS programme has been synonymous with excellence, ambition and aspiration. NLCS (Singapore) draws on that rich history and tradition to provide our students with an inspirational and life-changing educational experience that will ensure they become successful, well-rounded, and compassionate human beings.

NLCS produces scholars and critical thinkers. Individuals who have the ability and drive to bring positive change to the world around them, thanks to the “NLCS DNA” that is instilled within each one of them. This NLCS spirit is nurtured through exposing our students to opportunities which challenge them intellectually, physically and emotionally, on a day-to-day basis. The NLCS (Singapore) experience holds the traditions and values of our founders dear, and applies them in our exciting, international, dynamic, global environment.

Outstanding pastoral care that focuses on the needs of each individual, and commits that no child will ever feel unsupported in our school, lies at the heart of everything that we do.

Making decisions about your child’s schooling can be extremely challenging for parents, and we encourage you to meet with us, so that you can see for yourself what makes the NLCS ethos so unique and exciting We’re quite s ed by

ANGELA LEUNG & MARCUS HEININGER,

G8 & G11 PARENTS

We are from Hong Kong and Sydney and our daughters joined NLCS (Singapore) from its opening in 2020. We chose NLCS (Singapore) because of its compelling vision of a closeknit, international, nurturing environment for students to thrive intellectually, culturally and emotionally.

The foundation for this is a faculty of teachers who are experts in their fields, and they consistently inspire and extend students to build their intellectual interest in each subject, as well as teaching the essential curriculum The MYP aligns with this also as it allows NLCS (Singapore) to provide an optimised preparation for the IB programme

There are many CCAs, student societies and sports development opportunities NLCS (Singapore) encourages wide participation and student leadership Our children participated in lots of activities including swimming, netball and FOBISIA tours for the 'Bulldogs', drama productions, Big Band, Model United Nations and service societies. They also went on trips such as international leadership conferences, and the popular Duke of Edinburgh award with qualifying expeditions to South Korea and Australia. Senior-grade students are actively encouraged to be positive role models to younger students and experience real leadership opportunities.

As parents, we are also actively engaged through formal and informal networking (coffee tasting, Friday drinks, choirs, cheering the Bulldogs and more) to build constructive and friendly relationships among the NLCS (Singapore) community.

KEVIN AND JOANNE AUGENSTEIN, G6 & G9 PARENTS

As parents of both a Grade 6 and a Grade 9 student at NLCS (Singapore), we couldn't be happier with the school. NLCS (Singapore) instils a genuine love of learning in our children, sparking their curiosity and fostering a lifelong passion for gaining knowledge.

The range of clubs and societies, along with extensive co-curricular activities, allows our children to explore their interests beyond the classroom. They are excited to tell us all about the lunchtime lectures every fortnight

The teachers truly know their students, providing individual attention that helps each child thrive The supportive and caring environment ensures our children feel valued and encouraged, both academically and personally We love how the school community recently came together to support our son in a charity project he was running

We are continually impressed by how NLCS nurtures their growth, and we are confident our children are receiving a remarkable education in a place that truly feels like a second home.

In NLCS (Singapore), we offer an exceptional co-curricular programme that inspires students to be active and enthusiastic participants in a wide range of activities right from our youngest children in Pre-KG, through to Grade 12. Activities are age-appropriate but with sufficient challenge and rigour

The enrichment and CCA programmes at NLCS (Singapore) are broad and multifaceted. Over 120 CCAs take place across the school every week, providing an inspiring array for students to choose from. Some of these clubs are run throughout the academic year, whilst others will change each term. On top of nurturing passion and talent, CCAs allow students the opportunity to interact with students from other classes and grades as well To achieve its enrichment and CCA vision, the school ensures that its state-of-the-art facilities live up to the exacting demands of our coaches, teachers, and foundation school in London. The facilities are also similar to its other sister campuses in South Korea and Dubai.

Some of the school’s star facilities include well-resourced music ensemble rooms and a recording studio, a music technology suite, a black box drama studio, and a 700-seat auditorium for its music and performing arts-based programmes. Lining the wall in the hallway that connects our elementary and middle school are several dozen life-size images of students and educators. Each image contains an expressive portrait of a unique individual surrounded by important pieces of their identity. The collection of images captures the diversity and uniqueness of our community members and highlights our shared identity as Eagles.

Singapore American School is no different from these portraits Our school is made up of a collection of unique attributes that differentiate us from our peers. So, how do these elements of who we are all come together?

Non-Selective

We do not screen for academic level in admitting students to our school One of the great advantages of being non-selective is that we are able to welcome a diverse range of learners to our community and better serve more families.

Non-Profit

As a non-profit organization, we ensure that 100 percent of the money paid in tuition and fees goes directly into the student experience. We are never put in a position in challenging times of choosing between the interests of our students versus those of any shareholders.

American

From our founding, our mission has been to “provide an exemplary American education with an international perspective ” We aim to provide our students with the best in the American educational tradition (recognising that many of these attributes are in no way unique to the United States): a focus on critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, character development, and a deep belief in and respect for the potential of every individual regardless of background or identity.

International

With students from over 60 different countries, we are able to celebrate a wide breadth of cultures and create richer learning experiences for our students Approximately half our students are US passport holders and half are from the rest of the world. This diversity of background, culture, and beliefs is one of our greatest strengths.

TESTIMONIALS

AISHA ORAVEC

When we moved to Singapore our children were in elementary school and pre-school At that age the quality of the teacher is particularly important, we looked carefully at the satisfaction and reputation of the teachers in the schools we considered We were looking for a programme that provides an American-style education, but takes advantage of Singapore’s global population

Our children came from a very intimate, progressive IB school in Mumbai and we were a little overwhelmed by the size of international schools in Singapore. We looked for a school culture that would make our kids feel all the support of an intimate program with access to the many resources that a larger school provides. We also talked to parents with children at the schools we considered to make sure we would find ourselves in a supportive and welcoming community.

SAS has exceeded our expectations in many ways. Each division is tailored to the needs of its age group and challenges our children to grow as independent, capable learners. As expected, we have had wonderful, experienced, and happy teachers for our children at every level.

The school has demonstrated a strong growth mindset, regularly asking for feedback and adapting to consistently improve the student experience. The new superintendent has brought the community together and set a path forward that is exciting to be a part of. SAS does a wonderful job of ensuring new kids feel welcome and integrate quickly and the school prioritises social-emotional and character development alongside academics. Our family was welcomed into the community and the school has become a central part of our Singapore experience. We didn’t set out to look for a Chinese immersion programme for our younger kids, but after seeing it in action we have been very impressed with the programme. It has been amazing to see our first-grader read chapter books in Mandarin and write her own realistic fiction series using Chinese characters.

JESSICA LAMB, PARENT

We moved to Singapore from the UK in January 2023. It was initially challenging for my daughter Issy to join Grade 5 mid-way through the year, and we were both anxious about fitting in and making new friends, however, the UWCSEA community was so welcoming and supportive. The UWCSEA approach to education and learning is so impressive. I have been amazed by the range of fun and interesting ways teachers engage students in their subjects and their endless energy! The staff are extremely passionate about education and there is such a strong sense of community, purpose, safety and joy when walking around the campus. I feel inspired whenever I’m there – what an amazing environment to learn in! Issy went to Tioman in Grade 6 earlier this year for five days and came back with stories of kindness – her friend who always let the others shower first and adventure when they trekked through a rainforest! The broadening of horizons and encouragement to challenge yourself and learn new skills is so impressive and embeds memories and experiences that will last a lifetime.

I was b en When my family and I first moved nsferring to UWCSEA in Grade 4. Being a Third Culture Kid, I discovered friendships that were formed based on shared hobbies and passions rather than our nationalities or backgrounds. UWCSEA made my transition seamless by assigning me a buddy who played a crucial role in helping me integrate into this new environment. The College is a welcoming community where people accept you for who you are. Whether you’ve lived in ten countries or spent your whole life in Singapore, everyone is embraced and valued. There are countless exciting aspects of being part of UWCSEA. The school adopts a modern approach to education that prioritises excellence not only in Academics but also in Activities, Service, Outdoor Education, and Personal and Social Education. One of my most memorable experiences was the Grade 9/10 Expedition to Guilin, China, where I challenged myself to climb outdoor routes that pushed me beyond my comfort zone alongside peers from both East and Dover campuses. This experience truly encapsulated the spirit of UWCSEA.

EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES WITH OUTDOOR EDUCATION

At UWCSEA, we value a holistic approach to learning. In line with our mission of building a more sustainable future, our community of students embark on Outdoor Education Expeditions from Grade 1 to 12. This fosters a deeper understanding and connection with nature through experiential learning in diverse outdoor environments. From Grade 3 onwards, students venture on meaningful field trips overseas with their teachers and peers In 2023, more than 3,000 of our students participated in over 200 adventure trips Our ethos of ‘Challenge of Choice’ guides our expedition programme in empowering each student to venture beyond their comfort zones and choose their own level of risk-taking.

Students thrive in our leadership-driven expeditions, participating in a diverse range of activities. For example, in April, our Grade 9 students embarked on many adventure-filled journeys around the world, including riding the high seas on a tall ship in South West Australia, kayaking over 70km of crystal clear waters in West Papua, Indonesia, and trekking through the breathtaking Markha Valley in Ladakh, northern India In Ladakh, for instance, 16 students immersed themselves in an unforgettable 18-day expedition where they braved one of the world’s harshest environments, mastering skills like tent pitching, acclimatisation, and pacing their trek

In trips like the one in Ladakh, students learn more than just survival skills. It’s an opportunity for them to become leaders in their own ways, especially in an extreme environment on a long journey. They develop empathy for others, resolve conflict with compassion, and take initiative in guiding their peers in difficult moments Our students form close bonds with one another through these powerful experiences where they thrive and overcome challenges together With the leadership of our experienced Outdoor Educators – who are outstanding environmentalists, mountaineers, sailors, divers, and adventurers – our students emerge from the expeditions with a stronger resolve to preserve our natural environments.

A BESPOKE HIGH SCHOOL LEARNING PROGRAMME

Making choices in Grades 9 and 10 is an exciting time for students when they reflect on the disciplines they enjoy, their learning preferences, and their hopes for the future. Drawing on UWCSEA’s expertise in curriculum design and longstanding experience with the IB Diploma, our expert educators have carefully designed a unique UWCSEA Grade 9/10 programme, with the IBDP expectations in mind. The UWCSEA Grade 9/10 courses replace the legacy IGCSE programme, offering students a different experience but with the same destination, providing a fresh approach to learning while still guiding them towards the same academic goals

Going beyond traditional exam-focused learning, the programme draws inspiration from our students' curiosity and ambition to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world, challenging students to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and understanding in different ways. With a strong emphasis on real-world, experiential learning, we connect students with their surroundings to prepare them for the workplace and inspire critical thinking about their futures. These hands-on experiences complement our K–12 Learning Programme, nurturing well-rounded individuals ready to make a meaningful impact in the world.

With a broader selection of subjects and combinations, students can tailor their learning journey to align with their interests while preparing for Grades 11–12 and the IBDP. They are supported by the High School team, including University Advisors and the IB Diploma Coordinator, to ensure a smooth transition. Students take core subjects like UWC Perspectives and PE, alongside up to 10 subjects in English, Humanities, Science, Math, and Arts. Unique offerings, such as the Social Entrepreneurship Programme and World of Learning internships, provide hands-on experiences, fostering transferable skills like teamwork and business understanding essential for future careers.

Our school has great students and teachers I have felt very welcomed since day one! It is a great environment to meet friends from all over the world Our school work is mainly project-based instead of just learning facts and reciting them This makes our classes exciting and fun. Guided by our caring teachers, we can take ownership of our learning and develop essential skills we will need to succeed now and in the future. For example, during our Design classes, we learn about the Design Cycle, Design Thinking and Constructive Discontent and how to use them to make your idea come to life. We research our potential customers and create real products. Right now, I am designing a unique phone charger that will charge your phone and several devices simultaneously. This type of project helps us understand how things work in real-life scenarios and how we can use our creativity for problem-solving and developing great ideas. In addition, we have a great selection of afterschool activities at school. I have joined our Esports and basketball teams. We had a lot of internal competitions and competitions against other international schools. It is fun and exciting to be a part of the team, learn new skills, meet new friends and develop new hobbies.

MEET THE HEAD OF COLLEGE NICK DAVIES

At Brighton College (Singapore), we pride ourselves on being a school with an exceptionally rich offering. With a focus on providing individualised support for every child, we maintain small class sizes even as we continue to grow. Since opening with 36 pupils in 2020, we now have 450 pupils across all year groups. We are excited about our future growth, especially with the recent opening of our senior school; the first teaching of IGCSEs will begin here in August 2025 and A-levels soon after.

At the heart of our College are the three Brighton values: curiosity, confidence, and kindness. These values guide us in providing an exceptional education for every pupil, allowing them to flourish in our nurturing environment. In addition, we are proud of our strong links with Brighton College in the UK, named 'UK School of the Decade,' where pupils this August, achieved some of the very best examination results nationally; we are committed to using the same innovative teaching methods, to help our pupils here in Singapore, achieve similar levels of success.

Alongside our dedication to fostering academic curiosity, we passionately believe in the power of a holistic education. Though we are smaller than some schools in Singapore, our pupils benefit from outstanding facilities, including two swimming pools, 2 sports halls, 2 large astro pitches, several tennis courts and gymnasiums. We offer an impressive array of over 120 cocurricular activities each week, ranging from academic and creative pursuits to sporting options, providing a truly well-rounded education.

The term ‘small but mighty’ comes to mind! Having been with Brighton College (Singapore) from the start we have seen it grow from exciting beginnings to a school which is firmly on the map when it comes to International British School offerings in Singapore. Both our children love going to school. We particularly love the community spirit of the school and think it is unique to Brighton. The motto of curiosity, kindness and confidence is palpable throughout the school. The teachers are from strong academic backgrounds and know each child well and by name. They encourage them to do their best not just academically but across all areas e.g. sports, art, drama etc. The school fosters a true partnership with parents, which contributes to the success of the children’s education

YEAR 8 PARENT

We chose to move our child to Brighton College (Singapore) after 8 years at a much larger international school. Brighton College (Singapore) Senior School is nothing short of outstanding. We're praising the top-notch teachers, the competitive sports program, and the no-phone policy, but mostly that our daughter's academic progress, confidence and joy for learning have soared The academic pre-GCSE curriculum is delivered with small class sizes, plenty of worthwhile homework, inspiring and exceptionally talented teaching staff and positive camaraderie amongst classmates. My child holds a leadership position, plays in school teams, is on the LAMDA drama program and has also embraced the extensive range of extracurricular activities from cricket to musical theatre.

SUMMER T., YEAR 6 STUDENT

I really like Brighton College (Singapore) because it has a fun and loving community Everyone likes each other and gets on. I have loads of good friends and all the teachers are awesome all the time. My form teacher is Miss Seller and she makes everything really fun.

I’ve been at Brighton College (Singapore) for a really long time and it feels like a home to me. We also get to do fun experiments like with bunsen burners and sometimes big presentations that I get to work with my friends on.

I really like the school. We have a school council and pelican pals who are in charge of events - we get so many fun events like odd sock day and cake sales for charity. The sport is very good. I’m on the touch rugby, netball and cross-country teams. I love my school and I wouldn’t change it because it is perfect exactly as it is.

RACHEL FERGUS & NEIL GUNN (PARENTS OF 2 STUDENTS)

When we toured the campus, we were immediately drawn to the beautiful jungle surroundings and the community feel. A big part of the latter comes from the staff and how they interact with one another and the students. Each morning, the kids are warmly welcomed and all the teachers take a genuine interest in how the kids are going. These small things can have a huge impact on a child’s sense of belonging and security in an institution. All the staff at this international school in Singapore have genuine care for how the children are performing, but more importantly, how they’re developing as good, thoughtful people.

NISHA & SID GIDWANI (PARENTS OF 2 STUDENTS)

The daily schedule at Chatsworth is studentled and inquiry-based so students ask questions and then research the answers. The K levels are especially unique because of their small size and the topics covered –learning about Singapore, recreating an MRT station, learning what makes a community, shapes, phonics, numbers and so much more! While it’s different from traditional worksheets, we know that learning is happening from the projects we get to see. The school feels like a family where you really get to know the teachers, staff and other parents. Every time we pick up our kids from school, we run into parents who we know. We absolutely love it!

PADME ANNARELLA YEAR 12 STUDENT (2023-24)

My favourite thing about school has to be the Chatsworth community. Despite getting bigger, our school is on the smaller side and the strong sense of community this creates is what I like best. I feel welcomed everywhere and this creates deeper relationships. A highlight of my time at Chatsworth is United Nations Day, now called Cultural Celebration Day. I look forward to this day every year. I can take a break from studying and enjoy learning about each culture at school through performances, food and more! This event is always memorable and I believe has a great value to my education at the same time.

JUSTINE BOCKENMEYER ALUMNI (CLASS OF 2018)

Chatsworth’s strong sense of community is often brought up when students are asked what they like most about this school and I can confirm that during my time, I truly felt as if I were part of a close-knit community. Having kind and approachable teachers, small class sizes and friendly peers all contributed to me feeling supported and safe, and I could fully express myself.

We knew we wanted an international school in Singapore with a strong academic track record that could also cater for the individual learning needs of our daughters. Our network in Singapore directed us to DCIS so we enrolled our girls here. This is a truly excellent place for learning! We appreciate the blend of high academic standards with a very inclusive and personalised teaching approach with tailored programmes and support to unlock the potential in every child. Our girls have benefited a lot from this. The teachers and staff are all amazing. We’re constantly impressed by their ability to cultivate a learning atmosphere that seamlessly combines warmth, fun and friendliness with discipline, focus and challenge. There’s always a lot of fun activities and projects going on outside of the classroom, from stage performances to residential trips and cultural events. Both our girls love the after-class curricular programme, where they can explore new activities and get to know kids from other classes. The extensive programme has something for every interest from sports, music, technology, art and beyond.

YEAR 13 STUDENT

I have been at Dover Court since the start of Year 9, having moved from the Nord Anglia Education school in HCMC, I’m now in Year 13, doing the final year of the IBDP I like how inclusive Dover Court is, as it creates a very diverse and welcoming atmosphere that helps create well-rounded individuals One of my favourite experiences at school so far was the adventurous journey for the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Awards, where we paddled over 120km along River Kwai in Thailand I enjoyed being able to go with my friends, and we learnt a lot, including that waterproof layers on tents only work if they are separated from the inner layer, which we learnt the hard way. It was an amazing experience, and the extra challenges only mean we have more stories to tell. I am currently in the process of applying to university, where I want to study politics and international relations. I'm not sure what I want to do afterwards, but I'm currently thinking of working in the civil service or diplomacy.

What stood out most from our initial tour was the warmth and personal involvement of all staff towards parents and children. We felt like we were being welcomed into a big family. When you have a child in boarding, this reassures you from the start that your child is in good hands and well taken care of.

Subject choice covers the full range of potential interests of the children. Teachers take a very personal interest in each child by teaching them at their individual pace and ability, ensuring that your child reaches their full potential

There are many different CCAs on offer, from Duke of Edinburgh awards to scuba diving trips, Shakespeare productions and jungle runs The grounds and facilities are amazing –there are huge sports fields and facilities

There’s a very flexible boarding arrangement of full-time, five days or three days Our son currently does three days which allows him some independence while still enabling him to be home for some of the week. This is a stepping stone for when he goes to university abroad in a few years time.

MCM challenges children to perform to their full potential academically within an environment that’s spacious and where multicultural diversity is respected and encouraged. It’s an ideal place for children to become global citizens and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to other families.

I came to Stamford American in 2011, while I was in Kindergarten 2. I attended the old campus, next to the current Early Learning Village.

My time at Stamford American has made me become the person I am today. It has helped shape my ambitions and future pathways. The classes I’ve taken have made me want to be a designer, and the experiences have helped shape my personality.

My number-one memory would definitely have to be our Grade 11 camp It was the funniest and most impactful one yet, as we did activities like bike riding, camping on the beach, hiking up to a cave, and visiting the fishing village I was able to make new friends and learn about Sam Roi Yot in Thailand

I will miss seeing all my friends during class I will also miss the facilities here, like the Innovation Center’s resources

While it feels great to be graduating, I do feel emotional as I’ve been here for such a long time. I have made many memories. I will also miss all the familiar faces, students and staff. Stamford American is such an open community with many kind people.

RYAN WINDEBANK, CLASS OF 2024

I joined Stamford American back in 2013, as a first grader. Stamford American has definitely helped me to build the skills I need to be successful in the future. The teachers have guided us to be confident decision-makers and equipped us with the knowledge we need to head off onto our different paths.

The inclusive environment Stamford American offers has taught me to be more understanding and open-minded about people’s differences and to appreciate the value they bring to our lives.

I have made friends from all over the world and they have had a huge impact on me during my time here. They have taught me to be resilient with the many departures, and the importance of communication to stay in touch I will definitely miss coming to school and seeing everyone each day
