Terraforming Teos: Game pitch and Concept.
Title and genre.
The game is called Terraforming Teos, the game will be Sci-fi genre.
Concept.
You play as Naratha, an astronaught on an asteroid called Teos. You must collect resources and begin to terraform the area. To do this you must gather Trees (collectables) and fight off the robots trying to take over. You must reach your ship, whilst going through the levels and making the world more green.
Visual Style.
The game will be a 2D sidescrolling platform game. It is exaggerated, as it includes things which are in real life, yet also includes aspects which are not real.
HUD.
The Heads Up Display will show: -The amount of lives you have left (typically 3) -How long you have left until the end of the level/How long you have taken -The level you are on -How many collectables have been found.

Gameplay Elements.
My gameplay consists of a side scrolling platformer. This means that the gameplay will include jumping and shooting mechanics and the ability to sprint.
Selling points.
The main selling point for my game would be the Mario like controls. This allows people to feel comfortable while playing, and allow the game to be easy when controlling the player. The other main point would have to be the Terraforming aspect of the game, the changing tilesets throughout levels and give the impression that you are Terraforming by finding collectables.
target Audience.
The target audience for my game would be the Sci-Fi fans of the gaming community as it heavily features Sci-Fi aspects such as space travel and robots. The game can be played by all ages as it is 'family friendly'it doesn't feature adult themes such as blood or gore, and, like Mario, can be played by all easily.
